A genuinely world class performance today. Proper box to box stuff.

That was a brilliant game for McTominay. Even if you don't factor in the two goals early on, it was a brilliant performance from him.
Hoping the injury is nothing to worry about.

The disrespect he gets is disgraceful but then Fletcher got the same when he was here and McTominay is just him reincarnated

Obviously MOTM today

As one of his biggest critics he was OUTSTANDING today, he got his goals then babysat Fred - stellar from the boy.

Such a good player. Keeps it simple but effective. Loved that drilled precision finish. Sublime touch for his second. Always rated him. Proper heater and leaves everything out there on the pitch.

Plays his best stuff for us with his shorter haircut.

His confidence absolutely skyrocketted after the 2 goals. He was doing sexy turns and difficult touches. Dominated them.

Scotty2Hottie!

He isn't even injured, he was just so hot today that his massive, titanic, dinosauric balls were on fire and he needed to cool down.

His dribbling is so good, for a big guy he has very quick feet.

A great display against Leeds doesn’t make the lad Fletcher but he was sensational today; the comparison is disgraceful at this juncture in McTs career.

Let McT create his own lane, he certainly carved one through the heart of Leeds.

As good a box to box performance as any. None of the sitting midfield 2 for Fred/McT.

Fantastic game for us today. He's maybe not at the level we would like for a starting midfielder in a great United team, but he's had too many good performances - today among them - for him to be written off the way he is too often.

Dig up stupid!
2 beautiful finishes, needs to bottle some of that composure and give martial a taste

Wonderful in the middle too

Bruno could've given him the pen, he might not get a better chance for the hattrick but then again there's always the return fixture I suppose!

People on here like him today then?

Wish our fans would stop criticising him when he's out the team for a bit.

Better attacker than he's defensively.

Brilliant performance and constantly on the front foot.

One of the best box to box performances I have seen in a very very very long time.
For a guy who is supposed to be more defensive than offensive, he shows some great close control at times.

That was his best match in a United shirt. It won't get better than this, however it's one game. The challenge for young players is consistency at a good to high level. The match was very open in midfield and he took advantage of it. So when it's a slower match, more compact, with better players, how else is he going to impact the match?

Fantastic performance today with Fred.

Great game from him, hopefully that injury at the end doesn't turn out to be too bad.

Where are the posters saying he’s a nothing player? I was told he wouldn’t contribute very much?

So much more than the hard working clogger he’s stereotyped as. His finishing has always been very very good and his ball control is usually excellent too. His one big weakness is consistency of his passing. If he can nail that down we’ve an absolute monster on our hands.

I really like this guy

He might not be a week in week out starter but he could be our Nicky Butt, a very dependable back-up who doesn't sulk and embodies the spirit of a United player
