Why can't he learn some English anyway, to be honest? He has been in England for 3 years now. Conte, Sarri and LVG spoke broken English but they did it. This reminds me of Valencia not caring to learn English all this time.
He probably speaks some English but doesn't want the media to misinterpret anything. He's actually a bit of a control freak, a la LVG.

Their mentality reminds me of that Russia team in a World Cup or European Cup a long while ago. 2008 maybe? Couldn't defend so they went completely Gung Ho. Fun to watch.

The early goals we scored really shooked him. Biesla needs to learn that he isn't coaching a top team. He sometimes has to adapt his gameplan against a better team. Leaving Phillips in the hole by himself was suicidal against a team like us. But, maybe another day his plan would have worked, however 8/10 we will always be favorite with such an appropriate like that.
With his tactics he will keep Leeds up which considering their team will be a miracle. I would rather be them than West Brom or Fulham.

Very good team. Part of me envy them. But I have a feeling Bielsa is there just to proof a point: he can play entertaining football. Not sure if he actually truly care about results for Leeds.

I doubt if he ever thinks that. You see him screaming at his players at 6-2. Get forward!
Doesn’t sound like a coach who doesn’t care

Saw a stat after the game that we are the first team to put 6 goals past a Bielsa-managed side since 1992. Pretty cool.

Their defensive positioning makes us look rock solid. They look like Kevin Keegan's Newcastle but with a fraction of the individual quality. In possession they're well coached, and out of it they press well, but once you break their lines, they are headless. We genuinely should have had at least 9 today. They weren't half chances, just awful finishes. Fortunately for them, Sheffield Utd, Fulham, West Brom and Burnley are all utterly hopeless, so I doubt they'll go down.

I really like to watch his team as a neutral but unsure how I would feel as a supporter.

Their constant attacking threat is commendable but I wouldn't be happy conceding the amount of goals they do.

Never has a team been beaten so badly and been praised to the tilt like it. Most satisfying win of the season for me. They’ll receive a few more of these beatings this season. Possibly at Spurs in a few weeks.
That defence is shambolic, two wingers at full back and a full back at centre back.

Tactically he isn't very good. To do what Leeds did today against us was suicide - and everyone knew

My sisters other half is a Leeds fan and he's quite concerned about how bad their defending is.

Pure arrogance today, thinking they can come to Old Trafford and attack this United side full on. They got a harsh wakeup call, but fair.

The concerning thing for Leeds about today's game was that none of their usual nice football was evident. Yeah they had their chances but that was more due to our poor defending that any good play from them

Usually though they play very good football where the opposition can't get near them

I'm shocked at the praise they were receiving. They were fecking awful. Yeah they're gonna create some chances when they throw 7 players forward at all times and are left exposed with 3/4 players back at all times against Rashford, Bruno et all with space to run. It was suicidal tactics and they made mistake after mistake and made it easy for us to tear them apart. Yet they kept getting praise from commentary. Laughable, and these tactics will drag them into a relegation fight because they don't have a clue defensively.

Was Phillips any value at all today? I was purely concentrating on our team I didnt see anyone in their midfield - only their attack and defence.

He said it before the game that he knows we like kill teams on the break but he wouldn't sit deep beacause that's the way he wants them play.

Yeah but they have no central midfield - they 4-5 in defense and 4-5 in attack - and maybe 1 person in 40 yards in midfield. It's just stupid
Its stupid fun. I enjoyed the match and would have (as a football fan) even if we lost. More of this. feck all that pragmatic bullshit

Pulled off at half time so I would say no.

They're a strange team, when you break the team down into bits Bamford has had a good season but has almost had a bit of a journeyman career and has been a misfit.

The wide players are nothing special as individuals, Harrison is never going to get a look in at City.

Phillips has been talked about a lot but every time he's played for England he's looked out of his depth and been crap.

Their defence is Championship/League one level.

It sounds daft to say when he's just let six goals in but I actually rate their goalkeeper, he's quite young but with some fine tuning and maturity he could have a shot of getting into the French squad.

McTominay bullied their midfield, Fred didn't even play that well today and we still controlled the midfield which says it all really. I still don't rate him, he's very fairweather.

I actually quite like Bamford, I do think he's a good player. He strikes me as someone who'll float around midtable PL clubs when he eventually leaves Leeds, if he does. Also agreed about their keeper, he's got a few mistakes in him but his instincts look good, he's pretty good for his age.

I've got a couple of questions for all the people criticising Leeds for the way they play.

Would you prefer it if Leeds played dull, defensive football to grind out results instead? If this same Leeds side had come to Old Trafford and ground out a boring 1-0 loss instead of a 6-2 loss, would you have been happier at the result?

I'm a Leeds fan. Didn't exactly enjoy the tonking but I was still enthralled to the very end. One of the most insane matches I've ever seen. Think a fair result would've been 10 - 5. Wish it had've been.

Speaking for myself I love our naïve feck you approach, even though we don't really have the players to get the best out of the system. It's enormous fun and I can accept a few tonkings along the way so long as we stay up and improve the quality of players we bring in over time - both of which seem more likely than not. Alright, today it seemed like the height of lunacy but honestly I wouldn't change it for the world.

Weird criticism. Lovely team to watch. Granted they will take a few pummellings, but the way they play means they'll score enough goals and get enough wins to stay up. Which would be a fabulous achievement. The longer Bielsa is in the PL the better.

Both aren't correlating. They're not just attacking, this is suicidal football. Against top team away from home it's pretty naive to open your defense like this. More balanced is fine. Attack but without going over the top.

Never mind any of that, can you imagine this place or Twitter if Ole sat on a little box having a brew while we were 2-0 down?

He was unbelievably naive for a manager with his experience but I still think they're very entertaining to watch and I'd rather stick on a Leeds game (:nervous:) than any other team. Their defending was utterly shambolic though, they didn't treat us with anywhere near enough respect.

I do like the way they play and tune in every week but I think he could stick to his overall philosophy and still not be so awful in transition. The tactic of vacating the midfield and just trying to track runners on the break bites them time and time again, we should have punished them even more for it. Phillips is completely isolated today. Bruno embarrassed him which he'll do to lots of players as he's a phenomenal footballer, but there has to be some other defensive pivot next to him because it allows opposition midfielders to spin in behind every single time. Klich is a lovely footballer on the ball, but absolutely awful off of it.

I'm glad they were the most defensively awful side I've seen in a long, long time. I like it when United score lots of goals and they helped us.

My only disappointment is that there are some truly terrible sides in the league this season as I think normally they'd have quite a high chance of going down.

They'll get hammered in the second half of the season like every Bielsa team when the main players will be really tired. Bielsa styla is great to watch, fun but so demanding. A great theorician and can motivate and developp players for sure.

But providing they stay up (which they will) then its a hell of a result.

This side simply doesn't have the players to be defensive and eek out results, so rightly they're a "feck it" all guna blazing type of team.

They're incredible value for the neutral too. I make a point of watching them when they're on.

They trust themselves and play to their own football style no? Refusing to adapt and be pragmatic by adjusting their football to suit and nullify opposing team... like us.

It's admirable.
