When you watch full games normally though are you particularly focusing on one player? Personally I can watch matches and matches where someone is featured and only really notice oppo players if they do something to particularly stand out.

But someone like Timo should stand out? Its not like Rashford out there who will at least stretch a defence ragged if he doesnt score or create openings from low blocks.
I think he could be a Pogba type player. Not someone who will bring sides up a level but someone who would sync in and flourish when those around him actually perform.

I think he has been okay. Don't think there is a reason to be worried about him yet.

Havertz looks a worse buy than him currently, cost more and is looking worse.

I really dont like him out wide. I think through the middle he will bag goals. Old cliche and one i sometimes dislike using, but i still think he and Havertz will prove to be quality players once they get to grips with the league. I still remember Drogba getting dogs abuse and being labelled a dud, albeit different kind of striker

Lampard will forever play him out wide to accommodate Tammy at any opportunity. Same as Havertz being shifted around to accommodate Mount.

It’s almost a 4231 formation but can easily be changed in game. It clearly gets the best from our players whilst playing them in their favoured position.

There is not a hope in hell that Lampard will play these and drop Mount and Tammy. It just won’t happen, however until players are played in their correct positions, I will refrain from judgement. Lampard’s decision making at times is utterly baffling.

Havertz stated in an interview with Marca that his favoured position is number 8.

Havertz position should be on the bench. Werner just about hanging in. Tammy and Mount look the much better options at the moment.

Well you can literally count the flops starting from Owen Hargreaves to now. Only players which have been great are KDB and Ozil for two seasons.

Ironically he'd suit the current United side down to the ground. Chelseas attacking setup leaves a little to be desired at the moment. Its definitely not getting the best out of him, very much a system player in the wrong system at present. Again I expect they will eventually get the configuration right.

Leipzig took maximum advantage of his one calling card - his pace. Take that calling card away and he is a second division striker.

That is one helluva list in terms talent and reputation, and as you said, so many of them failed to make their mark.
