Superchin just missed D12 for the 2nd 9 darter in 2 days
Only caught the last set, seemed like Gurney was solid, if not spectacular. Same with Ando, although 4-0 was a bit harsh on Devon.

Good line-up tonight- maybe DVD, Price and Dimitri, although I hope King wins and Durrant looked like he's getting back on track last match.

King isn’t a fan of the on stage antics, Price will wind him right up.
True, King needs to get in front early as Price doesn’t do it as much when he is behind in matches.

Edit: Kings got his ear plugs in, bit surprising. Talk about playing the player and not the board.

Yessir, 3-2! If only Dimi had been better at his doubles in the first few sets :( Chisnall missing a bit more now.

Shite, Dimitri's doubles disappearing.
Yeah, let himself down during the big moments even though he was brilliant at times.

Chisnall also very impressive, way way better than what he showed yesterday.

Chizzy held it together pretty well in the end.
Feck, those missed doubles though...
What it always comes down to... More 100+, 140+, 180s, higher average, but a 50% vs 31% checkout rate.

Didn't realise DVD was the guy who busted at a 180 back at the Worlds in 2016:lol:
Good start from him here.
I've just looked that up...

Seems like he's the only who didn't do it by accidental habit too, crazy. I think he's crazy enough to surprise MVG too, though MVG is obviously massive favourite for the tournament right now, but he does bring out the classics in people for when he loses. Those losses to Cross and Barny are two of the all time great worlds matches. Though topping the 2007 final might never be attainable.

This is a disappointing match . I actually preferred best of 7 matches because now the first couple of sets seem pointless

It happens to the best then. Was a bad leg to do it on though.

Great performance from Ando. DVD disappointing, but he's had a great tournament, a brilliant year and he'll surely win stuff over the next year or two.

Farmer’s celebration always makes me laugh  .

That was a lot more one sided than I thought it would be, going into the match Dirk was arguably playing the better darts. But never got going after winning the first set.

All aboard the Price-wagon! He’s not as fun without the crowds getting into mindgame schtick though.... crazy welshman!

MVG 0-2 down, this is getting very interesting now.
