I don't think it matters at all and had I not seen it reported in this forum I wouldnt even have been aware that he said it - my point is that I just find it hilarious how much he triggers guys in here.
"Don't think it matters at all" is a bit different to "he tries everything to get an advantage and is clearly still a master at it".

So you are moaning about ManUtd fans posts for nothing then.

So is this not thread to talk about Jose and that's what ManUtd fans are doing?

Also this is Jose sack watch. There is a thread dedicated to discuss his "performance"
I'm not moaning at all, just suggesting that you guys shouldn't take anything Jose says seriously because I certainly don't.

Good for you. When he goes to some no name club and then comes up with bs about Spurs, you can still stay calm, doesn't mean we should when Jose has been a twat and comes up with BS everytime.

If players and Managers react then it might be a unnecessary drama but I don't see what's wrong in fans calling him out for nonsense he says.

There was no controversial penalty, Pogba was tripped. MotD cleared it up in seconds. Should have been another on Pogba from Mings' elbow.

Jose needs to talk about Kane's diving and backing into players. That was never really taken up in the media as much as it should have been.
I agree it was a clear cut pen. However, it seems that the media and all are making it seem so, and hence the word controversial in " "

Has he talked shit about Chelsea, Inter, Real Madrid or Porto? Not sure he has. Also would love to know what specifically he said about Utd that got you all worked up?

He talked plenty about Chelsea when he was ManUtd manager.

What specifically? Search your posts on why you were moaning about ManUtd fans, see what Jose said in that week.

I don't care enough to look for it. I was asking you because it must have been awful for the reaction he gets.

Ok so you get angry about stuff you can't even remember?
I don't get angry. I see him say some nonsense, I'll post about it and move on. Then i see some Spurs fans getting worked up.

I'd say calling somebody a toxic c*nt would suggest you are pretty angry. Anyway, I don't see too many Spurs fans getting worked up by what Jose has said considering I don't think any of us were even aware of what he said until it was mentioned in here. I don't even think he was talking about Bruno, more likely Vardy or at the very least a number of players.

 saying toxic cnut means I'm angry. Nice logic.

Spurs fans gets worked up by posts here, not with what Jose says.

According to more level headed people with a brain, it seems he wasn't referencing any players at all, but trying to emphasize how good Son has been. At least, if I remember, it was about Son wasn't it?
As in, he's got that many without penalties.

Everyone just wants to create drama out of nothing.
Not everything he says has some hidden meaning.

Some of you would fit right in at the Sun. Or seem like one of their readers.

As Pogue says, he's really bigging up Son here. But nevertheless: the war is about the reputation of the Special One. His managerial stint with Spurs is just part of that. Whatever effects his words have regarding Kane, that's collateral damage.
He can big up Son and also have a dig at Bruno and his scoring rate with penalties. Those things don't have to be mutually exclusive. Fact is, he has already had previous with Bruno which is why the dig is there even if he doesn't mention him.

I agree. I still think the overarching, big issue for him is his own public image. He comes across as a classical narcissist.

I think the link is because he's already had a pop at Bruno directly about pens earlier in the season so it seems pretty clear. Very much doubt he'll get a reaction from United or the player but just seemed an unusual fight to pick.
I think its just a lot of shit really, the fact its getting discussed proves his trolling works, people talk. Its meaningless codswallop TBH.

Trust me its worse, they have threads where they just go to town on each other, they call it "cnut offs" and its encouraged  . Your rep is better with the number of times you have been suspended.

I was directed to it by a Spurs supporting friend and found it very civilised, apart from a tiny handful of newborn Jose cultists.

I’ll bow to your greater experience though.

Its a good forum, lots of laughs but there is A LOT of agenda, thespurscommunity is probably more level headed.

All the Spurs forums have weird (totally different) quirks that make them a bit unappealing for me personally.

Having said that, I think the point was that Spurs fans generally are a bit less enamoured with Jose than maybe Man Utd fans were initially and I'd probably agree with that, though at least part of that is he managed Chelsea for so long.

For me personally, I find him actually really funny as a person. I'm sure he'd be hilarious to sit down and talk to. The football he serves up is often dull as dishwater though and we've dropped points this season that I don't think we would have dropped if we'd been a bit more adventurous (see Wolves and CP).

I don't want him gone because I don't like changing managers too quickly but I wasn't delighted with his appointment and I haven't seen a great deal so far to convince me otherwise.

And yes, I know how ridiculous this will look if he ends up bringing back a couple of trophies this season, especially if they're 'bigger' ones.

You are so sensitive about people talking about Jose........

The whole master bit is just jibberish.

I get it he your manager now so you at the stage where you convinced yourself he cant do anything wrong, most of us where their. But you seriously can't expect people on their own fan page to not comment about an ex manager?

You are the spurs man over here in a football forum.

You do realise one of your admin is a Chelsea fan?

*EDIT* this isnt a slight on @duffer who I think is a class poster but I do find it off that other club fans are pointed out as such.

I've zero issue with other club fans on here. Makes it far more interesting place to be honest.

It's just times when someone being overly sensitive about their manager being spoke about, then telling the fans to stop being sensitive is a bit silly.

There is a difference between getting riled up by posters here and being riled up by Jose Mourinho. I have never and will never get riled up by Jose Mourinho and neither should anyone else. Getting a bit riled up at certain posts on a forum is basically standard though, isn't that why most of us are here?

Come on now, you are talking about one of the most divisive football managers in history who just so happened to manage this club and it was also largely horrific for the fans to endure both his football and his personality. It doesn't help that regardless of what he does he maintains a cult like following who seemingly worship the ground he works on which caused huge divisions amongst Utd fans during his time here. I don't think its surprising at all after all of that, that some posters like to see him fail and call out his constant bullsh*t.

Are spurs fan happy with the football or do they not care as long as they challenge and have hope for a trophy? So is caraboa cup good enough since it's been ages since the last trophy?

Or how long will they accept this with no trophies if that happens? Three years (not that Jose will last that long)

Or is this seen as an improvement on poch (minus last season)

I didn't mind his style of play against the bigger clubs and we have played some great football at times this season, but Palace, Leicester and Wolves was pretty dire. Leeds was an improvement and hope he builds on it. I don't mind surrendering the ball as long as it comes with an outcome.

You have to remember we are 4 points off top in a season where anything can happen so it would be increadbaly stupid to be calling for his head.

Top 4 and a cup would get most Spurs fans very happy even if the football is shite.

No one actually really riled unless discussing it means they are biting and riled up. It looks worse on Jose than anyone. It's more humour than anything.

I sent the video about Saturday and everyone just laughed because if anything he came across salty but you think he was pulling some sort of master games when it was having opposite effect.
