I know you are watching this thread Liverpool fans, take a look and do one.
It was obvious this happened at the time too. I don’t know how anyone can justify it’s not a penalty.

Whether the defender intended it or not, he caught Pogbas foot which forced him to trip. It’s a penalty. About as clear as you can get with VAR to be honest.

Have they gotten ‘round to commenting on the disgraceful Christmas schedule which favours them - again - yet?

The absolute dangers.
This. I couldn’t believe they play on Monday against Southampton. They always have the longest break between Christmas fixtures.

Was a blatant penalty, didn’t even need a replay, looked a clear penalty as it happened.

The replays only highlight that.

A deluded dipper i know told me earlier this morning that United are in a false position in the league... He claimed we've been lucky and United's recent form means nothing... I just laughed and told him to check who's won the most points since our opening day defeat against Palace... He claimed "The champions of course".. then walked off laughing.. I wonder if he's bothered to check the form table between United and Liverpool... Last 5 games -
United : P-5.. W-4.. D-1.. L-0.. Pts-13..... Liverpool : P-5.. W-2.. D-3.. L-0.. Pts-9..... Last 10 games - United : P-10.. W-8.. D-2.. L-0.. Pts-26.....
Liverpool : P-10.. W-5.. D-5.. L-0.. Pts-20...... Last 15 games - United : P-15.. W-10.. D-3.. L-2.. Pts-33..... Liverpool : P-15.. W-8.. D-6.. L-1.. Pts-30

LVG's notebook
Their lack of self awareness when they accuse us of tactical fouling is astounding.

The main reason they have been so successful is off the back of this tactic. They are the masters of it.

It’s just bitterness. United fans said the same last year about luck when keepers appeared to be handing Liverpool points each week with bizarre errors. There’s no massive conspiracy, just like there wasn’t last season.

They’re taking more notice now that we’re actually a conceivable threat at the top end of the table and each extra penalty we get hurts them a little bit more than it used to. Personally I love being hated again - lets you know we’re doing something right.

To be fair they need the extra time, fencing all those stolen christmas pressies doesn't do it self you know.

we are a MUCH better team than these but we have got to realise that they are going to get gifted points in games.
It was always the way in Fergies days and its back since Ole took over.
They were gifted loads of games last year but we were not bothered because we were so far ahead of them.
Get back to our best and they will be nowhere near despite all the help they get

Brighton away sums up what we are up against
two points robbed off us in the last minute
Two points given to them AFTER the final whistle

but we are still TOP
They just get decision after decision after decision. Whilst we have been on the wrong side of many. The net swing in points is huge. If this didn't continue I wouldn't be worried about them but it will won't it. Its been going on over a year now.
At least Ole winning the league will keep him in a job ;)
Overnight success rarely happens overnight. Needs hours of training, diving, initiating contact, feigning injury etc. Meticulous attention to detail, even sound effects etc , along with clear and continuous communication to the refs. Its all hard work, day in day out.
But in the end, its possible and you see the results in the table.

This is why I find all the circle jerking on here about Liverpool the last few years really weird. They refuse to give us any credit ever and are straight back on the conspiracy bullshit when we start looking quite good again.

Some of our fans however are happy to praise them to the hilt.
We should be as blinkered and tribal as them? ;)

Nah, I’d rather give credit where it’s due.

Yeah, I'll take that everyday. Win-win for all Utd and Pool fans. We are happy that we get to win league titles. They can remain happy that Ole is still our manager

Where the grass is greener.
Imagine some of them genuinely trying to convince themselves into thinking us winning the league with Ole would be a good thing as it keeps him in the job. I love their odd little minds.

It’s not beyond possibility that we go to the game at Liverpool being 3 points ahead of them. They could lose to Southampton and we beat Burnley before the game at anfield. (Of course with our inconsistencies in recent years, we could very well produce the opposite results!)

They’re smashing us at Anfield. Caf down for 2 days.
It’s almost a given that we hear shit like this prior to each and every Man Utd match. People don’t like to believe in their own team and prefer to wait for disastrous results. Hard to explain why, buy that’s a fact...

Snowflake generation, too scared to get behind their team in case somebody they will never meet in the internet takes the p*as out of them when we lose.

Its because our brains have not been melted by years of bitterness and hate. Like why do they even bother discussing us? It might as well have been bots who copy paste the same 10 comments over and over

Even if they won the title, a lot of their younger fans have grown up watching Manchester United win. On the other hand, Liverpool were always an irrelevant team for the same generation of Manchester United fans. I for example never really cared about their results. They win or they lose didn't matter at the end of the day because we won the title. They were just another mid table team. Even now, its very strange for me that Liverpool won the league. Not as strange as Leicester but similar in some ways.

Things like this is why RAWK is a weird place.

Such posts isn't a rarity.

  • Haven't posted overmuch during these stressed-out times but wanted to add my congratulations (far too long overdue I have to say!) to you Liverpool lads and lassies for not just winning the title but for the manner and style in which it was won. Jurgen Klopp has done a magnificent job these last 5 years. Love the fella's charisma and enthusiasm. He's inspired decent players to become super-players and not in ones or twos either! Worth his weight in gold. Unlike that Special one sulk-arse Mourinho that we saddled ourselves with for 3 long and tortuous years!
