No way, you're not allowed an easy out like this.

People who have formed their own opinions and not listened to rival fans/pundits/noise on Twitter who know feck all have every right to give you a hard time for however long we feel like it.

The signs have been there for well over a year, you can't join the party now.

Watch everything go wrong now. Don’t win anymore games, our best players all get serious injuries and some how we get relegated

Can we have this outpouring of emotion at the end of the season. Feel like we're going to collectively jinx ourselves, nothing is won or lost in January.

He’s not saying we will win the league, just that he was wrong about what Ole is capable of and the fact he’s right for the job at hand.

Watch as we lose the next three and a new post pops up 'I apologise for apologising!' ;)

No need to apologise, unless you are one of those throwing insults at him. There are quite a few of those!

We are only in early January. So no need to eat humble pie yet!

Unless. You want to soul search those stanse insults and pathetic premature conclusions

Why the need for an apology? Football changes every week. Performances fluctuate, even more so this season. Yes, we're doing well in the league at the current moment and for that Ole deserves credit but I think that alone provides little (if any basis) as to whether "he has it in him" to be United's manager. We're approaching the half-way point of the league with multiple cups to still play for.

Surely our assessment of Ole's performance shouldn't be as prescriptive. I mean there are aspects of Ole's management that are positive just as there are elements that remain curiously suspect.

The signs are looking good, but time will tell if we get back to our glory days.

I have been in a weird position since Ole took charge. I have been 100% Ole in but also totally understood the fans who were Ole out.

The truth is, his CV is not impressive, we have had more false dawns than I can count since Sir Alex retired and we have definitely had some down moments in Ole's time. With that said he is clearly a very bright guy, clearly puts the club first and has picked up certain habits from Sir Alex. I have probably said it about 20 times on here, he would be an awful choice for City, Liverpool or Real Madrid but for us specifically he might well be the best choice.

I think that the only thing I would say is that he has made enough good decisions now that we should all give him a little more leeway if he draws the next 2 games despite the panic that his average CV might inspire.

The "Ole out" thread will explode again the next time we drop points.

As sure as the sun coming up. Goes to show how fixed they are with their agenda/narrative. They are too dumb or blinded to see progression or an upward trajectory if it fell on their face.

"Then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around, and say

That it's too late to apologize
It's too late
I said it's too late to apologize
It's too late"

Just kidding. It's not too late.

Those who can't see how he repaired the squad harmony and togetherness since he took over should be ashamed of themselves.

The most important part in a winning team isn't quality, but making them work together.

You sort that one out, the squad will flourish. We're seeing that now with Ole.

I was always behind him, and always believed he got the potential.

In! Out! In! Our! In! Out!

This zero trust then total trust is weird. Ole I believe is doing very well and the good things he has established are fantastic for the health of the club. the players are fighting, improving, winning and our transfer policy seems under control. For now he should have all our support. However our high standards remain, and if he were to start performing badly and regressing then we should of course question his tenure. This moment however is not the time to do it.

Signs are promising but this thread could come back to bite you in the arse, in a relatively short time span. Personally would have given it a few more games before deciding to convert, it’s January not April.

I was wrong when I thought you didn’t have it in you.

There are still things you need to develop. Maybe be a little more active on the sideline, at least that’s my wish. Your tactical knowledge will improve with experience so time should be on your side on that department. I can only see positive things with your squad management, its an achievement of highest caliber to bring back a little bit of our old calmness and togetherness to the club.

Bringing Darren Fletcher to your team of coaching staff is in my opinion the right move. He represents everything that’s good with our academy and his journey is a good example what’s happening if you’re determined and don’t give up.

The storm seems to be over! From now on I’m 100% sure you’re the right guy to take us forward to success. There will be bumps on the road and we will face disappointments but the future look bright with you at the wheel. The foundation is there and with a few addition we will challenge everybody in Europe. .

If you really mean it, I expect a pint of blood as the true test for forgiveness. That's the least of what you can offer for penance for all the grief your kind has caused.

The difference between being foolish or being a survivor is the ability to know when you’re wrong”

The results doesn’t lie, not after two years.

I don’t apologize specific to the Redcafe, I just simply admitted that I was wrong about my assessment about Ole’s contribution to our results. Whatever he’s doing it’s works. We don’t have to micro analyze every little setback, this giant ship is steady moving forward and that’s what matters.

Players seems to be happy, even Pogba is contributing (on his way out) and smiling. We turn losses in to wins. The club looks stable and after seven years the storm seems to be over.

Equal top early in the New Year but if you read some threads you’d be forgiven for thinking we’re in the relegation zone.

Dunno about the rest of you but this ol’ Mancunian is feeling proper chuffed.

If we draw the next three, would this statement be retracted?

It all seems contingent on our placing rather than other things, because squad management hasnt changed much and has been similar to last season, no?
