Exactly. He's less critical and less pessimistic than about 60% of posters on this forum. He was desperate for us to win and so clearly nervous at the end.
Except when the foul denies a clear goal scoring opportunity. Which it was, so it’s a straight red, if the play was allowed to stand. It doesn't
A red would be for dangerous play /being out of control... Getting the ball, even loads of it, has nothing to do with that.
Whether you think it's a red or not (and I don't) you could see someone getting sent off for something like that in a different game.
The conversation was about the Shaw tackle.Except when the foul denies a clear goal scoring opportunity. Which it was, so it’s a straight red, if the play was allowed to stand.
Of course he’ll be happy we are top of the league by 3pts ? Should he be sad ?Gary says I think OGS will be happy now, I've never heard as much pi$h in my life we need GOALS
Are you his cousin?VAR obviously thought it could have been a red card. Neville was right discuss the possibility that it could be given. Clinton Morrison and Jamie Redknapp both said the same thing at half time.
You can't expect Neville to be a propagandist for United.
Shaw won the ball but Neville didn't even see it, despite watching the tackle at least 5 times. It was flat out bizarre how he repeatedly failed to see a blatant toe on the ball before Shaw's inevitable follow through.VAR obviously thought it could have been a red card. Well fair play to him for acknowledging it. No-ones accusing him of being Clive Tydlesley bias or even Paddy Crerand bias towards Utd on commentary, so he shouldn’t feel he has to unfairly beat Utd to appease the neutrals.Tweet

Are you a scouser? Are you his cousin?
No.Are you a scouser?
How come everyone is saying this today? He's had an absolute nightmare tonight
This thread is bizarre. Why are half of the posters making up stuff that didn’t happen haha
He gives as non biased as possible, and sometimes he might be overly critical but Christ he’s a fan and utd legend.
Is there one pundit who was once a top player for one club over several years who doesnt want to see his former team do well? Neville is a United legend and loves the Club; it hurts him to see United struggle and he is desperate for us to do well. Is that so wrong? Why are half of the posters making up stuff that didn’t happen haha

When did he say that? I thought he said Brady should be of and dyche will be happy it got pulled back for a foulThe fact he described Brady’s challenge as “yellow at best” and didn’t seem to take any issue with Maguires disallowed goal. It says it all really.
He hardly said anything about that. He even said he didn't see what happened until the replay. The way he went on about that Bailly thing I was fully expecting on the replay to see Bailly had headbutted him or something.
Then you see the replay and it's fecking nothing at all.
Neville needs to calm down
It was absolutely hilarious. I love him and have even defended him in this thread but it was clear on the first look itself that Shaw got the ball . You can argue that it was still a bad challenge but the fact that he kept saying again & again that he doesn't get the ball was truly one of the most incredible things I have ever seenShaw won the ball but Neville didn't even see it, despite watching the tackle at least 5 times. It was flat out bizarre how he repeatedly failed to see a blatant toe on the ball before Shaw's inevitable follow through.
It looked like handball to me to until I saw the replay. I wear contacts thoughPeople are moaning that he's blind. A point coincidentally strengthened by that bizarre incident.
not for me it isn’t but seems like it is in here, to the point people are actually changing his commentary to suite their own weird agendaIs there one pundit who was once a top player for one club over several years who doesnt want to see his former team do well? Neville is a United legend and loves the Club; it hurts him to see United struggle and he is desperate for us to do well. Is that so wrong?
Yea it was clear he missed him getting the ball. If he was saying it could be a red because of the follow through that would have been fine, but he missed the obvious touch on the ballShaw won the ball but Neville didn't even see it, despite watching the tackle at least 5 times. Did he say "get" or "touch"?It was absolutely hilarious. I love him and have even defended him in this thread but it was clear on the first look itself that Shaw got the ball . He did say that also to be fair.Yea it was clear he missed him getting the ball. If he was saying it could be a red because of the follow through that would have been fine, but he missed the obvious touch on the ball
