Reinforcement Round 2 - The Take-Other-People's-Presents Round

This is the second reinforcement round and it is once again a sheep round. Select a player who was picked by one of the losing managers and send them to me via PM.

Some points to note:
  • The player or sheep you end up with in this round does NOT have to feature in your match.
  • You get three chances to pick your player.
  • The list of available players are listed below.

I honestly didn't anticipate many fails so I haven't considered that someone might end up with a sheep for this round. Have to figure out what to do as there aren't really sheep in that pool :lol:

Maybe I'll listen to suggestions from others in that eventuality.

You can give them picks that aren't that useful (i.e. a 2nd choice GK if they've already drafted an elite GK) or players who while they aren't sheep traditionally are less highly rated than most of the players available.

The other option is to use the option I gave myself in the last sheep draft I ran which was that sheep will meet the criteria unless there are no players of a sufficiently low standard that meet the criteria.

To be fair, a sheep more or less takes you out of contention for winning the draft, so any player is just about the same :lol:

Yea missing out on a top upgrade especially since the initial drafting had them blocked anyways is quite heavy. Am not complaining of course, that is always the nature of sheep rounds.

On the bright side you don't need to play Darmian, because that's a big hit.

I'm quite surprised that I landed Redondo in R3, thought he was obvious pick in terms of formation and especially being blocked at first and was fully expected to get a sheep. The risk was obviously worth it of course considering we don't have to play who we get.

Match Rules

  1. The winner of each group progresses to the final. In the case of a stalemate, the % by which you have won will come into play to determine a finalist
  2. One tactical change per match is possible with 1 sub. In the event of a tactical change, both formation graphics will be shown in the OP.
  3. In the unlikely case of having duo managers one will have to be the main debater with the co-manager only allowed three posts per thread to prevent double teaming.
  4. All matches to be completed within a week of the draw. No shows will forfeit unless there are serious extenuating circumstances. Even if you can't put together an OP just send a team sheet.
  5. In the event of a draw, there will be a penalty shootout.
  6. To help avoid fielding ineligible players, please make it known on the main thread if you know a drafter has picked a ineligible player.
  7. There will be one injury per team per round so draft accordingly with a backup goalkeeper. Make those 16 picks count.
  8. It has to be a Christmas Tree formation.

I have to say, the second group seems the group of death. Happy to be in the mellow group :)

When do want to play @Isotope @King Kendrick

@Himannv , you should have made the games more interesting by making it mandatory for the whole squad apart from injuries and sheep to play one of the 2 games. Current version might be a bit redundant and boring.
