Two more points thrown away by Spurs, to add to many points we've thrown away this season. If we don't stop this bad habit soon then our league campaign will be in trouble.
It’s Jose trying to hold onto a lead. Same thing happened in his first full season at United. So many 1-1’s.

I know his goals/assists are proving me wrong, but it still feels a massive waste having Kane playing this roaming quarterback role

Fulham have 2 games in hand on Brighton, I fancy them to stay up.
They've been playing well for weeks now, outplayed Liverpool at home just before xmas. Just need to find a decent striker in this window if Mitrovic can't get going again as that's all that is missing.

They can reel in Newcastle aswell I think.

I can see why you Utd fans hate Jose now. So much talent at his disposal and he's making them play like defensive donkeys. Not very good ones at that.

Spurs have the best striker in the league by a mile and Son who at worst is the third best wide forward. At 27 and 28 they are at their peak. They are throwing away a great chance to put in a title challenge.

Fulham looked decent. Lookman looks raw still, but there's definitely a player there. Anguissa looks like a unit in the middle. Worse squads have stayed up in the past.

Good to see Spurs drop points.

It's a tricky one because they don't score many, but Caveleiro is a solid modern striker, makes runs in behind, can dribble, excellent work rate. I think they'll stick with him and look for RLC and Lookman to score more, the downside with playing someone like Mitrovic is you lose the running up top.

The good news is that Brighton are in the exact same situation, none of their strikers are scoring.

Newcastle really need Saint Maximin back, he's basically a one man attack for them.

Spurs had a couple of games where they kept going for it after the first goal, and were actually quite successful with it, then mourinho decided he'd proven a point and went back to trying to grind out 1-0s. His ego will be the death of them

I've always though of Caveleiro more as a wide forward, can't really remember him playing central at Wolves much. Him one side, Lookman the other and someone in on loan perhaps for six month as the CF and that could be enough as the keeper, defence and midfield are miles better than what they were putting up firs few games.

They actually had a really good last minute window as Lofus-Cheek. Robinson, Areola, Aina and Joachim Andersen are all miles better quality than what they have in first 5 games.

I wouldnt go that far! This season is so crazy anything could happen. Still a long way to go.
Are you seriously not fed up with him yet?

There is more than enough ability within that Spurs side to go toe-to-toe with anyone in the prem, let alone relegation candidates Fulham, yet Jose forces his side to spend an entire second half defending a 1-goal lead. How can you be content with that? It makes no sense mate.

West Ham game was the turning point but surely he should've just seen that as a fluke ending. In the early games they certainly didn't put the handbrake on at 1 goal up, even the Newcastle game that ended 1-1 they completely battered Newcastle that day.

Leeds is only one when they pushed on and that was Leeds just flooding forward as usual so ideal opponents for Spurs really.

Only now ?
Well we kind of knew but always thought his experience would see him adapt. Not getting the players (poor excuse I know) at Utd maybe gave him some room for doubt.

However Spurs is chock-a-block with talent, specially up front. Imagine Klopp in charge of this Spurs team right now. Jose hasn't adapted, refuses to adapt. Useless manager.

I'm getting fed up yes of course but I can't deny that this season is totally mad and very open and all it would take is one club to go on a run of 5/6 wins to take them into title contention. We are also in a cup final. I'm not giving up yet and still hope we can have a good season. I'm getting very frustrated at the way we are playing though.

Without indulging in schadenfreude, it's bloody nice not to have to live though this anymore!

What a stupid way to play football when your attacking players are as gifted as Spurs' are. Go 1-0 up and shut up shop. It didn't work for us, or he'd still be here, and it certainly isn't working for Spurs. Pointless.

Frank Lampard currently had a higher win rate at Chelsea 49.1% in 55 league games compared to Jose on 48.8% in 43 league games.

He's just not the same Manager he once was, he was a beast back in the day but footballs moved on and his tactics these days are dated. Still, one of the best Managers in the last 20 years mind but he's clearly had his day.

So we appoint him and you immediately want us to call him out? That's an odd thought process for a football fan.
If you appointed some new less known manager, then there are reasons to give him time. But everyone knows Jose (including Man Utd supporters who know him better than many others). He is past it tactically, and nothing changes.

Villa on 26 points with two games in hand is a great effort
Yeah would expect them to beat Newcastle at home whenever they can finally fit that game into the schedule but really worry for City away next Weds night when I just can't see them being in any condition to compete. I would love to say Villa will use how badly this COVID stuff has affected them and inspire a galvanised performance but just can't see it myself.
