Fulham Football Club (also known as The Cottagers or The Whites), is a professional association football club based in Fulham, West London, England. Fulham were formed in 1879 as Fulham St Andrew's Church Sunday School F.C., founded by worshipers (mostly adept at cricket) at the Church of England on Star Road, West Kensington (St Andrew's, Fulham Fields). Fulham's mother church still stands today with a plaque commemorating the team's foundation. They won the West London Amateur Cup in 1887 and, having shortened the name from Fulham Excelsior to its present form in 1888, they then won the West London League in 1893 at the first attempt.

Fulham started playing at their current ground at Craven Cottage in 1896, their first game against now defunct rivals Minerva. Fulham are one of the oldest established clubs in southern England currently playing professional football, though there are many non-league sides like Kent side Cray Wanderers who are several decades older. The club gained professional status on 12 December 1898, the same year that they were admitted into the Southern League's Second Division. They were the second club from London to turn professional, following Arsenal, then named Royal Arsenal 1891.

After suffering relegation to The Championship in 2013, Fulham have been on a road to recovery and were promoted to the Premier League on 26 May 2018, by winning 1–0 in the 2018 EFL Championship play-off Final against Aston Villa. Fulham fans consider their main rivals to be Chelsea, followed by Queens Park Rangers. They also have rivalries with other London clubs, including Brentford and Crystal Palace.

Liverpool next Sunday, I'm ok with rotating Shaw/Bruno/Rashford here.

Never understand this. If we lost today they overtook us. How could that be pointless regardless of midweek result? Would losing today have guaranteed a win mid week? Or a draw midweek guaranteed a win today?
I'd have said the same regardless. If we presume Liverpool win their next game we need to win out next one to show that we're not giving anything up without a fight. Rolling over right after a game like that just makes you look soft.

And Martial and Greenwood have done what exactly?

Despite Rashford not quite reaching the heights he set last season, he's still been a lot more threatening than the two wingers you would start ahead of him.

A game for the Matic-Pogba midfield duo. Rashford needs benching and Bruno needs a rest, but they’re both in my FPL team, so what I said is null and void :D Rest them in the cup game because the FA Cup is something we should just forget about this season. Be for the greater good if we do. Martial though, he really needs benching.

I would like this (not gonna happen):
    DDG
    AWB - Bailly - Maguire - Shaw
    Matic - VdB
    Greenwood - Bruno - Pogba
    Cavani

Come on, lads! We have to win the next 2 games then go get it at Emirates.

A banana skin for United. Fulham fully deserved their draws against Tottenham, Liverpool and would have taken at least a point off Chelsea yesterday if they had 11 men for the 2nd half.

Does anyone know if accumulation of Yellow Cards causes a suspension in the FA Cup or not?

Either way, I think Shaw, Maguire & Bruno should play this game. If they are to miss a game, I'd rather it were Liverpool in the FA Cup or Sheffield United in the League, not Arsenal away.

We need Bailly back in to play a higher line as Fulham will be deep, Rashford needs to sit a couple of games out but it could be Fred with Pogba and then Matic in the cup next weekend.

Yes, any competition overseen by the FA uses up banned games.

Rashford for Martial. Martial has been worse, at least Rashford contributes.

    We should smash em.

Cowardly point at Anfield justifiable if we beat Fulham and Sheff U. Anything less than six points is unacceptable.

Not for yellow card accumulation. They are comp specific.
I did suspect accumulation was competition specific, but a red card in either resulted in a suspension in either etc.

Of course, it's probably unlikely that all of Shaw, Maguire & Bruno will get booked in the same game (unless they actively try to if we can be in a comfortable position late in the game).

However, Fulham have looked a much better team in the last five or so games, more so than Sheffield United. If we can beat either side without a couple of our best players, it should be Sheffield United. Full strength here, similar side that faced Liverpool today.

Very physical and hard running side. Could be why Bailly was rested today.

No Robinson will affect their ability to attack down the left, and they don’t have a goalscorer.

Hard earned win but our forwards need to be on their game

We really should start scoring goals again. Two goals in the last three games is not great.
