Standard Martial performance this season. Had a few headers, but never fancied him to score any of them. Apart from that he's just not involved.
Thought AWB improved after a horrible start with some good crosses. That terrible touch though!

The venn diagram of Greenwood cutting in from the right and Greenwood shooting into shins is a circle. (this season)
It looks like defenders know his one and only trick. He is no Robben (yet)

Our best players are Cavani, Bruno and Shaw. Our right side is non existent. We need RW asap. You better turn to be good Diallo!

Maguire should study Bruce and Vidic on how to head a fecking goal. I really don't think he's captain material like they were. He's too soft.

What was the game the other week where AWB fecked up on the free kick then when asked in the post match interview, no more than 30-45mins later, he’d absolutely forgotten about it - he’s not very switched on generally & it shows in games.
Yeah I remember that. It was against villa. He completely switched off and let Grealish in down the left hand side. When asked about it by the reporter after the match he literally had no clue what he was talking about even though it was glaringly obvious it was his mistake! He really does come across as a bit thick.

A big reason why our right wing always looks toothless is because Wan-Bissaka can not control a ball and contributes feck all attacking wise. We could put Sancho there and we'd still struggle.

Apparently though, AWB's lack of footballing ability is due to not having a proper RW ahead of him. As if having Messi would help AWB control the ball or not feck up easy passes.

Atrocious footballer, and not made up for by his defensive ability anymore now that his positional play has been exposed. He's slide tackles, and that's it.

What frustrates me the most is that he's been here almost two years and his play on the ball hasn't improved one bit. Is he not being coached or is he uncoachable?
I want to know the name of the scout who has watched him numerous times and went: “yup, that’s our guy, let’s spent a small fortune for him”. How?!

The game is very much there for the taking. Problem is there's always the possibility of a defensive mistake like AWB's for the first goal.

First half illustrated what we often struggle with. Both of our CM’s are to deep or to “sitting” in our possession play. We need more players in the space between them and Bruno. When also Greenwood and Martial are very static on our wing we struggle a lot. Our wings sometimes have to be playable on go on small runs in the centre.

Latter. I’d just sell him in the summer because if the man who’s improved Shaw, Fred and McT in every aspect of their game can’t improve him, then there’s just no point of persisting with him. The other option would be to make him 3rd choice RB, but on his wage, that would be extremely uneconomical.

Otherwise, decent performance but we need to up it to score more goals.

Decent 1st half albeit from a shocking start. Awb needs to wake up in his defending looks ok going forward bit more quality needed off his crosses. Wonder if Rashford will come on hope we get a few in 2nd so he can have decent break. Can see us scoring early in 2nd hopefully. Fulham have been going backwards since we scored

Not a great half. Fulham look crap, but we’ve worked their keeper so little. We look suspect at the back too and just as likely to give up a big chance.

Penny for Ole’s thoughts on whether he really believes Martial and Greenwood can cut it for a title chasing side.
Everyone thought Martial, Greenwood and Rashford would kick on this season. Greenwood is still extremely young, and Rashford has been good in moments, but both him and Martial haven't been as reliable as hoped. Need them to sort it out if we want any chance of winning the title.

We just aren't carving out enough goal-scoring opportunities. We were denied a legitimate penalty but that should have fired us up to do more. Disappointing half.

Their back four are leaving a hole in front of them that pogba and Bruno need to exploit.

Basically when Bruno hit the post that area.

Glad Cavani is playing because none of our other players would have been in the right spot. I think only one of martial or Rashford should be playing at the minute. The 2 together isn’t working. Greenwood hasn’t been great but he looks sharper at least

Poor start. We didn't seem fully switched on for their goal. And to be honest for 20 minutes, I thought they were thr better side. That Fernandes shot that hit the post seemed to spark some life into us and obviously we very shortly after got the goal. Still we'll need to be better to break them down second half. It'll take some inventiveness.

He's been one of my favourite players for the last 5 years but I can't take Martial jogging around anymore.

No urgency in that half from Martial, Greenwood or Shaw.

For 3 players that are fighting for their positions/shirts that's pathetic when you're playing to go top of the league.

He’s a truly awful footballer for this level, it’s a minor miracle that we have won PL games with a right side of James & AWB, league two level technical ability both of them.

Need Rashford in the game ASAP.

We need to win this game. We can open them up, but we're moving the ball too slow at times and the movement has been static.

    Wan-Bissaka has had a shocking 1st half.

It's difficult for Greenwood. He's a lot better in the box than he is in general play and without a good attacking right-back to stretch the play on that side, Mason doesn't have anyone to work off; no channels to run into and no space to get off shots.

That and we don't have a genuine RW that can bring others into play.. AWB is a problem though.

Something on our right side is miles off.

    Ole should rectify it asap.

Bring someone closer to Greenwood, maybe take out Martial out and bring VDB or Mata in. Play with 2 up front.

Since Rio analysed it. That was awful from Maguire and Bailly when slowed down was poor from the whole back line

Fulham never lost under Parker when scoring first

I might as well call it a night now then
