Great win. Very difficult game just as I thought it would be. Fulham played really well and made it a tough contest. I know the performance wasn't out of this world, but Fulham played a hand in that.

Good battle there. If Fulham play like that every match they'll be alright.

feck me we make every game a nail biter
There were two games this season, I think, where we entered the last 15 minutes with more than one goal ahead: Leeds and Sheffield United - and we almost fecked up one of those.

We'll be physically and mentally exhausted long before the season ends because we have to sweat blood in every single game.

We really need to put games to bed sooner. We have habit of inviting unnecessary pressure towards the end when leading by a goal. All the composure goes out of the window. What a goal to win the match though!
This wasnt a put the game to bed game though, it was a come from behind win against a very tricky opponent

Terrible performance really. I am not sure why we can't close out the game properly. Why is it every time that the opponents have to miss great chance for us to get the points? Why was that guy left so alone to cross that where Bailly almost scored own goal? We still need more coherence in the midfield.

Red Card for Casemiro!
It's amazing how we're top of the league with two of our main goalscorers from last season, Greenwood and Martial, being so woefully out of touch with barely any numbers between them.

Pogba, Cavani, Fred and Shaw (apart from one passage of play) were excellent. Fernandes was very good until about 75th minute. Maguire was good as usual, I thought Bailly looked a bit nervy. Wan-Bissaka and Martial were typical of their form this season, although Wan-Bissaka did make a fantastic recovery challenge. Greenwood was involved and did well, his passing was sharp and he was looking to cross it more often which is encouraging.

We were really good up until the 2nd goal, what we needed at that point was some fresh legs, instead Solskjaer decided to wait until Fulham were completely in control of the game to change anything. He's playing with fire pulling shite like that, no need whatsoever to leave it until the 82nd minute to make a change, it prevented us ever really getting a foothold back in the game. The last 15 minutes were absolute torture, make no mistake though we choked the life out of them up until that point and shows again the glimpses of things to come. It was very important we won this game and we can move onto the next one.

We can't just comfortably finish the games without causing at least a couple heart attacks, can we. Anyway, massive 3 points.
It's because we feck it up. Rashford was a good sub to bring on but then he completely loses the plot by not using his brain.
Ole also needed to take off Martial and Greenwood earlier.

Liverpool was a disappointing result but an encouraging performance. This was the opposite. We need to put these games away in a more comfortable manner. We can't keep riding our luck in these nervous final minutes.

the moment where Bailly nearly got an own goal will haunt my dreams. 3 points in the bag, 40 points after 19 games. We wont get relegated yay!

I wish we could be a little more convincing, but feck me these lads have some mental strength to keep coming. And what's better is that people keep writing us off.

Makes you wonder what's possible if just one of them began scoring at a similar rate, at least Cavani's picked up some of the slack.

How much longer will we continue to get away with playing like that though?
No idea. 13 unbeaten in the league but I’d struggle to name a complete performance out of those 13. We’re riding our luck a lot. Hope it doesn’t disappear as we get closer to the business end of the season.

We dominated except for the last 15 minutes. Bit of ass clinching. World class goal from Pogba, he has been very good lately.

Let's go!!

Absolutely NOT terrible as some of you are suggesting.

I don't think we were bad, except Martial and Greenwood first half, in the second he was way better. I just think Fulham have really progressed, and you could see their intensity and their recent results (drew to L'pool, drew to Tottenham, lost to Chelsea 1-0 with a man down at 45').

I think last season we would have lost this kind of game with this intensity by the opposition team.

I'd like that we scored the 3rd goal when we had the chance, but 3 massive points for us. Very happy for that. Too soon to say, but that was a champions win.

Similar to the Burnley match really. Pressure on to get a result and a tough match with Pogba deciding it through a moment of brilliance.

It’s great to see our mentality and graft get us through games now, if we play that game in the last 5 or so year we draw or simply don’t respond to going behind.

You’d hope that sooner or later one of Martial, Rashford, Bruno will hit some form again. We’re particularly struggling to kill games with them all firing blanks at the moment. Saw somebody post a stat saying we’ve only been winning by more than 1 goal at the 75th minute mark once all season and that was against Leeds. Tense finishes but we’re battling through.

Good win, but i am not sold on the performance. Relying on individual brilliance to bail us out.

City are clear favourites to win the league i feel.

We have a really bad habit of taking 1 goal lead and sit back at the end of the game. We were lucky not to concede in so many occasions.

Pogba what a goal!

Delighted with the result, tough place to go, kind of game the top teams have once in a while and somehow still get a result.

Take a bow Pogba.

Can't believe how much we are winning at the moment. Winning all types of games and now seeing out tough matches.

Fred a warrior again today. Absolutely relentless in his pressing all day long

Concerning that more or less every match AWB positions himself a long way from the rest of the defence. Can't be an instruction from Ole at this rate. It is a contributing factor in us looking a bit easy to play through to a chance in most matches. I'm not sure it is coachable. He needs to completely revamp this side of his defending.

Felt confident the whole game to be honest, apart from the nervy last 5. We were tiring Fulham out, the goal was going to come.
We'll be a force if we can get the whole team confident and playing as well as they've done individually at times over the last 12 months.

Something inside me thinks last year when we can back from Covid, we didn’t get pressed this much, we were probably the fittest team in the league after Covid and that helped secure third.

Every team seems to press somewhat now, this alone makes the league more competitive and unpredictable just the concentration involved from the passing side is tiring throughout a season.

Delighted we saw the game out but we don’t half make the end of games unnecessarily nervy! AWB doesn’t make that block or the deflection off Bailly is 6 inches the other way and it’s a draw and we’re all gutted.

Anyway, back at the top and a win is a win. Subs need to be made earlier next time.

People have stopped asking "if" we're in a title race, because we're weeks into one.

Back to the top, lets enjoy the ride reds

Our game management at the closing minutes really needs to improve, our subs are usually terrible and come way too late. It's all well if we keep winning but at some point our luck will run out.

We're good enough to go deep in the Europa with our 2nd string.
I'd love if we actually did this but I can see us, as all teams are, getting tempted when you get the QFs of starting to put out strong teams. PL is all about squad depth and fitness this season, it only takes an injury to someone like Fred, AWB or Shaw and we'll derail

Really got away with one today, it took a gift from their goalkeeper and a 30 yard worldie from Pogba to bail us out from an absolutely dreadful performance.

I'm happy with the wins but we really do not look like a top football team when you look at the performances, we've won 1 league comfortably this season (Leeds) - every other game has been a massive massive struggle.
