Why? I would prefer a match with all our starters rested - we have more important priorities than the cup games. I think you put too much emphasis to the opposition: it doesn’t matter that we play Liverpool, it is still merely a cup 4th round and nothing more than that.
Playing Liverpool is always more than just another match or just a 4th round FAC tie.
They are the enemy and so we should do anything and everything to beat them.

It's a must win game, as we are attempting to win all 3 trophies available to us.
    It's a knockout competition.
Given the above, I expect us to field the strongest team possible....which does include Bruno.

I'd want to beat these cnuts at everything, football, snakes and ladders, tiddlywinks, I Spy...destroy the cnuts.
    Same here, man.
I think some of the younger fans don't quite get how big a game this is.

Wow. This view surprises me a lot. If we beat Liverpool , Ole is 4 games from lifting his first major trophy as Man United manager, with only City who can realistically stop us.

Yes we’ll rest 3-4, but I’d be devestated If we changed 10-11 players. We can also shuffle v’s Sheff United, VDB and Matic are than capable

Knocking Liverpool further off their perch is very important to many fans, No matter what competition

VDB and telles need game time and rashford needs to play himself into form, so I'm hoping those 3 play. Maybe we could rest bruno and pogba or bring them on from the bench if necessary
Id literally only bring those 3 in for bruno, shaw and martial. No more than 3 changes are needed.

    Totally agree.

I know a fellow fan who thinks we should put a really weak lineup out, to throw it.
    Cannot understand that at all.

We should field the strongest team possible in all competions. If players are tired, then they are not going to be picked. This is why we have a squad. Downside is potential injuries like City have had.

Tired my arse, 2 games a week should be easy for top athletes. If its every other day fair enough but not with 4 days rest.
This is must win game and we play the best 11.

This is a really difficult one. Half of me saying feck this FA cup let's focus on the PL. The other half says let's feck Liverpoo.

I don't see a thread for the press conference for this match. However I loved his comments regarding being more careful with possession while attacking; not always looking for the killer pass and slowing down the break and playing in their half. It's something I noticed during the City game where Bruno would keep trying to force difficult final balls to Rashford that were never on instead of simply laying the ball off for Pogba and creating quick give and go situations in the final third.

Play the kids, feck the cup id rather win the Europa which doesn't contain Man City.
I sorta of disagree with that. Going the distance in the Europa league will be detrimental to our premier league title challenge. Bin the Europa League and try to win the FA Cup while having a premier league title challenge. Much better than winning the Europa League. Being in the FA Cup rather than the Europa league is way better. Haven't had a proper title challenge in 7 years and this is probably our best chance.

Full first team but rest Bruno. Drop Martial.

    DDG
    AWB Bailly Maguire Shaw
    McT Fred
    Pogba DVB Rashford
    Cavani
More important than the line up is that we head out there with the right attitude. We showed them way too much respect in the league game - if we had set up the way we would against Southampton or Leeds, we'd have beaten them handily.

    Its liverpool it always matters.

    Hendo
    A.W.B
    Bailly
    Maguire
    Shaw
    Mctom
    Fred
    Pogba
    V.D.B
    Rashford
    Martial

I think Bruno could do with a rest and V.d.B will keep the ball better which we will need to get more control than what we had last Sunday, I would like to see cavani start over martial but cant see his body being up to another 90 minutes so soon.

We don't score in these games anymore so I can't really see us beating them regardless of the line-up. So might as well rotate.

0-2 Liverpool either way, with their first coming from a set piece a la the League Cup semi against City.

Will be easier to pursue the Europa in my opinion, should get an easier tie after Sociedad. The FA Cup has lost its sparkle, its shit.

Really good point, we should absolutely be prioritising this over the Europa. We can’t afford to give Liverpool any psychological lift when they are in their current predicament.

We have much much bigger fish to catch. An opportunity that comes after 7 years not even close to it.

feck this 4th round FA Cup let’s play reserves and kids.

There was a thread that people didn’t bother much, losing Semifinal league cup against a weakened City. Why bother now on 4th round?

    That's the spirit
We don’t have big squad to fight on many fronts, man. Bruno is dying, we only have 3 good and fit CB with Maguire has to play all games. And we have only one reliable RB and striker.

And we have a manager that loves to have subs on 80+ minutes.

I’d happily trounce these cnuts tomorrow, play the Ressies in the next round and then see what happens thereafter. There’s absolutely no way we should approach tomorrow in anything other than a winning mindset. Another loss for that lot could really set the rot in for them. No way should we be the ones to reinvigorate their season.

There is nothing to be gained by us failing to take this seriously. A win at Old Trafford could get them back up and running so it's vital we ensure we aren't caught napping. Ole's tactics will be really interesting, we are at home in a cup game will we sit back and let them have all the ball and try to hit them on the break or will we try and impose ourselves and give it everything we have? Until we start approaching big games with that attitude instead of trying to steal results with cagey performances the jury will be out on Ole.

We'll play against Liverpoo not some championship team mate. As much as we hate them let's not forget they have one of the best pressing systems in the world. Try to dominate, which means keeping possession against that, one mistake and we gonna pay.

Best tactic is still sit back a bit and try to hit them real fast on the break I think.

The same people saying "rest the first team, play the reserves or play the kids" were the same people who complained when we got knocked out in the semi-final last year to Chelsea to rest players for West Ham 3 days later which resulted in us drawing 1-1, threw an FA Cup final place for that...

You don't rest players in big games like this, play the first team and let's fecking smash these cnuts after being in a horrible nightmare for three years with them winning left, right and centre

Penalties - would be my prediction.

In which case we should go through. According to Jürgen, pens are our one, true strength after all.

Henderson,Telles, Matic and Mata will start I reckon. DVB for Bruno is a absolute must.
Martial will probably get another chance as ST and hopefully we get a Amad cameo.
