He wants to play for a side who can regularly compete for major honours
Agreed.crack on report me.
perhaps we can then get the thread back on topic and move on. Seems you’ve spent enough time typing in here today. I have

Christ, that’s what you took from that. Spit the dummy out if you want but like I said there’s a reason you got warned, maybe self reflect a bit.@Leroy The Red
I saw your post started with going over old ground & I couldn’t agree more. I also saw more paragraphs than I care to dissect. We’re both hitting the same points each post & we’re getting nowhere slowly. We’ve gone from ‘literally one’ to ‘those that respond more than one line’ yet the goalposts apparently remain the same. . .
I’d say the below statement is rather insulting but then it doesn’t reflect the echo chamber that is the Utopia of RedCafe. . .
Maybe I’ll start using the report button when my memes don’t hit.
But lesson learnt, on RaceCaf you must be sure to wait for racisms spot in the queue as apparently him saying it first was the issue after all. . .
Do have a blessed evening.
He was supposed to be a player that enabled a club to challenge for major honours
He is not even in our top three performers, recent form is good so let us see if he can keep it up and make a significant contribution to this club winning trophies. On his own? Did you think we signed Superman?
It’s a forum lad, settle yourself. I’ve had 2 warnings on this forum both in Pogba threads; this isn’t new to me.Christ, that’s what you took from that. Spit the dummy out if you want but like I said there’s a reason you got warned, maybe self reflect a bit.
If you continue this approach elsewhere on here I’d say expect the same results.
Do have a blessed evening.
Come on now, does Lukaku not count? Fellaini? Lingard???On his own? Did you think we signed Superman?
no, just Steven GerrardOn his own? Did you think we signed Superman?
Alternatively Pogba left in 2012 because he thought he was ready to start and wasn't being given the opportunity. The fact he immediately walked into the Juventus midfield (despite it being better than our own at the time) says he was likely right. You are all forgetting Pogba‘s contract is expired in 2022, on 290k and we are dealing with Raiola. Raiola will use this as advantage by telling United to give Pogba the highest paid and big agent fees. Unless if you want United to do that then Pogba will leave. Raiola is the reason why, which is why he left in 2012.
I remember the wages was the main issue because Raiola asked for the same paid as Rafael da Silva or something basically breaking the wages structure of the club for the player who just got promoted to first team squad. Technically a wages that is in the same category of the first team player so at the same time also asking to be played more if you get such a wages. End of the day, the agent is the main issue and that’s why sir Alex called Raiola s***bag.Alternatively Pogba left in 2012 because he thought he was ready to start and wasn't being given the opportunity. What I always said about Pogba is that he is the last piece of the puzzle not the first. We bought him for 90m so pundits and fans expected goals and assists every game so when he didn’t do that they jumped on him.Exactly he went from playing with Pirlo, Vidal, Dybala etc to Lingard, Perriera and Fellaini yet his stats are almost the exact same at United they were with Juventus.
So we got what we paid for we just failed to give him the players around him to win
Obviously Raiola is going to push things to try to get the best deal for his client, but at the end of the day Pogba is the one making the decision. If we'd agreed to pay him the same we were paying Rafael (no idea if that's true) he might have taken that as a sign we were going to start giving him constant games and stayed around, but it would have been for the games not the money.I remember the wages was the main issue because Raiola asked for the same paid as Rafael da Silva or something basically breaking the wages structure of the club for the player who just got promoted to first team squad. Agent can give influence to player‘s decision. Pogba was leaving everything to his agent and his agent is using the situation to get the best deal. Did I say it was his only reason? No. Do I think it was the main reason? Yes.Obviously Raiola is going to push things to try to get the best deal for his client, but at the end of the day Pogba is the one making the decision. It simply comes down to this - would Pogba have stayed if he'd had a different agent than Raiola? I highly doubt it. So I'm not going to blame Raiola for it, even if he likely was more obnoxious than needed.
There has definitely been racism towards Lewis Hamilton so it would make sense that Pogba gets a bit of the same. Though I think there has been frustration with 'brand Pogba' when results werent great and former players like Keane wanted a true leader on the pitch. I have been both a supporter of Pogba when the knives have been out and utterly frustrated by him (losing the ball consecutively 3 times in under a minute in our half, appalling for a top class player). He has certainly deserved his criticism at times for his performances, his maturity, his courtship of other clubs, the behaviour of his agent. So you think the backlash would be just as nasty if he was a white man? I’m not saying him being black is the only reason, but I think it contributes, absolutely.
In fairness he can’t do that all by himselfHe was supposed to be a player that enabled a club to challenge for major honours
He was never bought to be a one man team, never has been for any club he's played for. He's never carried a team like that.He was supposed to be a player that enabled a club to challenge for major honours
You make it sound like he's Ander Herrera type of player. He was bought to be a game - changer for us. Not necessarily since 1st game or even season, but he was given a huge contract because of his potential which he never reached, and that's why we should sell him. No hard feelings really, as one of his biggest critics I don't consider Pogba to be a "fail" here, it just didn't work out for various reasons. He was never bought to be a one man team, never has been for any club he's played for. He's never carried a team like that.
Pogba has been a victim of people buying into a version of the player that never existed, ignorance that he was this one man show that could take us back to the top, when anyone who watched him at Juventus knows that while he was great, his supporting cast were great too. Not saying Pogba's been faultless in his time here, far from it, but the expectations were never fair from day one.
Fair enough but we were buying a young man for a huge fee with supposedly huge potential so we were expecting a player to grow into a better version than the Juventus one ( Bryan Robson grew into the monster he became in his time at Utd) and we just did not get that with him.He was never bought to be a one man team, never has been for any club he's played for. He's never carried a team like that.

Nonsense. The two priorities are trophies and money. So many people buying their heads in the sand and denying responsibility but the truth is if Pogba wants away the main reason will be how the club's own fans treated him and behaved.
this is dumb. how the hell is one player going to "enable" a club to challenge for major honours? The biggest and most consistent players in the world have best in class supporting cast.He was supposed to be a player that enabled a club to challenge for major honours
This sums it up. We’re doing well at the minute sure - but we’re not that level yetPSG & Juve will offer him a major trophy every season along with CL knockout football every year.
We can't offer that, yet.
