VDB will be the one who will contribute positively and decisively

He came from Uruguay, he made the scousers cry.

Got a feeling we'll all be singing this in our households tonight.

I am getting more and more excited about this as the game approaches. I was way more confident last week (which is always a bad sign) but I just hope Ole says to the lads go on, attack and enjoy yourselves. Of course don’t ever want to lose to Scousers but really we might as well go for it and take more risks than normal.
Extra time is something I would like to avoid.

Anyone else worried about the team sheet?

I thought Bruno was great midweek and so was Pogba, I think if he plays them they’ll have a point to prove. Really want VDB to get a chance though and you can’t play all 3.

I just hope he doesn’t play James and Lingard.

We need to go strong, if we
Win, it continues the ‘crisis’ but if they win then they are ‘back’.

We should go with our strongest XI, making 1 or 2 swaps at most.

It’s been written here before but it bears repeating: we need to kick Liverpool while they’re down.

I'm still so unsure what line-up we'll go with, and even what I'd want the most. Ole said there will be changes from the Fulham game which was:

De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, Pogba, Bruno; Greenwood, Cavani, Martial

Some I'm starting to expect are:

    Henderson > de Gea
    Tuanzebe > Wan-Bissaka
    Lindelof > Bailly
    Telles > Shaw
    Matic > Fred
    Van de Beek > Pogba
    McTominay > Greenwood
    Rashford > Cavani

Would he make as many as 8 though? Starting what are probably the big 3 in Maguire, Bruno & Rashford. The only other big changes currently would be leaving out Wan-Bissaka, Shaw and Pogba IMO (maybe Fred).

I'm thinking slightly less changes than that, but still at least half the side from the Fulham match.

    Just a feeling, really.

Are they bound to bounce back or is this going to end for Klopp like it did with Dortmund years back?
Worth noting that his Dortmund side did kind of bounce back in the second half of that 2014/15 season: they went 9-3-3 in the last 15 league games, compared to only 4 wins in the first 19.

Be interesting to see how Ole approaches the game. Following the game against Liverpool last week, he made it clear we could have been better on the ball. Based on that, I personally wouldn't go with McTominay and Fred as the pivot and would probably bring in Matic in place of McTominay, simply because he's more composed on the ball, which will be needed against the press of Liverpool.

That being said, Ole does generally go with McTominay and Fred in the 'bigger' games, so it'd be no surprise to see him do so today. I just think if we're going to take our game to the next level and impose our dominance more, we need someone who can get on the ball and calm us down.

I’ve had the shittiest of feeling all day long. Probably means nothing, but would love for it to mean we bash them proper.

If we keep playing Bruno when he's clearly very tired then there should be no surprise when he inevitably gets injured. At which point our season's prospects rapidly go downhill.

Rest him, for the love of god. If VDB was brought in for nothing else, it's so we can do that.

yeah. I just hope Ole put the trust on the players not playing much in this season.
    I will pop
    If we see Liverpool drop

I actually really want to win this one.

Getting bored of the “it doesn’t matter” tag line as if we win trophies like we used to.

Obviously rest certain players but whoever steps out there is representing Manchester United at home against Liverpool; I expect a good performance as a minimum.

I used to love winning the FA Cup growing up; would quite like to do so again.

First time I’m actually thinking if we execute our game plan really well and don’t give them a sniff, we could give them a good thumping.

    We’ll batter them 1-0

FA Cup represents our best chance at a trophy this season, even though we're currently top in the league. Plus we're playing Liverpool. Anyone even remotely unbothered if we lose is an odd one.

I’d love nothing better than a Bruno winner from a dodgy penalty in the 98th minute, which Allison then boots away in anger, taking Klopps head clean off inadvertently.

However I have a bad feeling about today
