All of BVB, Leipzig and Leverkusen losing, we're going to go 7 points clear tomorrow.
There's really no other way put it, the other so-called 'top teams' in this league are nothing more than a sad bunch of hopeless losers.
Dude, show some respect and grace. That was an uncalled for comment.

Joke of a league. Only needs Bayern to sign 2nd-3rd placed team's best centre-back. Hopefully when Lewandowski, Muller and Neuer retire, 3-4 years from now, it becomes a little bit more competitive.
People said that when Ribery and Robben left. The plan is to not have that become an issue. :)

Probably just for a few months but to bring back Dardai is ridiculous :houllier:

Actually I've seen reports that managed to force an 18 month contract (as well as keeping his previous, permanent, one with the club) in negotiations. As far as finishing the season goes he might be the best candidate available on paper. But bigger picture he 100% represents what Hertha were trying to outgrow. I don't know whether it's funny or tragic to me how they have dealt with their lottery win.

Though that is exactly the problem with Hertha, isn it? Nobody cares about them.

There's a word for that: tragicomedy!

Do you think that formation is correct? Can rather see Reyna and Brandt being the 8s, or Brandt and Delaney in midfield with Reus behind the striker.

I don't think Reus belongs out wide anymore and he's played in a CM-ish role - with a deeper positioning during build up - before. How you want to arrange the central three on paper is a bit semantics. You could draw it as a 4231, but it's not like Brandt will stay in line with Delaney for entire moves.

Terzic is going all-in.
Well, it is only Augsburg so I don’t think a 4-1-4-1 is the wrong approach. It is not like Augsburg will try to control possession.

Sancho probably telling them all at training "lads look at the team I'm joining in six months continually falling behind to bottom 6 teams....let's do that here to get me ready." :D

He's already on 24 goals.
Müller is already on 10.
Bayern must fear the day those two decide to call it a day.

Oh right, 24, shame on me :(
Lewandowski and Müller under Flick's attacking football are just fantastic. Lewandowski clearly is his most complete version yet right now, and Müller has reached his 13-15 heights again, while also doubling as on-field coach.

Fun fact:
Schalke are now 434 days without an away win.

Weird transfer. He's getting on in age (approaching 34) and injury prone, he has played a whooping 28 minutes since 2019(!) and between Guendouzi, Ascacibar and Tousart I don't really see what he's adding tactically. On the bright side Bild are apparently reporting that his contract will only be set to the end of the season.

Yeah at first glance it seems like more of the same, yet another central midfielder for a squad that has gaping holes in other areas. What this team lacks though is leadership and experience so in an ideal world he could provide that.
It's an okay transfer if a) he's on a team-friendly contract (and like you mentioned it's only until the end of the season anyway for now), b) he won't be injured 90% of the time, c) they're about to get rid of another central midfielder and d) they're also getting a winger.
That's way too many ifs to get me excited....

I obviously don't know how these things work internally, but I'm not sure you can just drop a crocked player in the dressing room out of the blue and just make him the boss. Especially not if he comes with a 15 game expiration date. It smells of the same old "we have money now, so instead of organically developing, we'll just skip the steps and buy it".

Well the best case scenario would be the impact that Kevin Boateng had when he joined Frankfurt.
As for the much needed winger, looks like they're trying to get Raschica. It's a bit risky considering his latest performances but it's also why he's going to be cheaper than a few months ago.

Frankfurt had a band of rowdy footballers, some with a reputation of being difficult and Boateng with his life story seemed to fit in perfectly, both in terms of personality and performances. They also had players like Hasebe, Meier or Abraham for experience and leadership before and after him.
As an example this highlights the difference I see with Khedira. Being 10+ year older than the younger players of the squad, he's basically of a different generation. Where Cunha and Gouendouzi may be difficult characters at times Khedira has always been a model professional, so it's not necessarily like you expect them to connect in an elder brother kind of way. And after not playing for so long it's probably not clear whether he can actually take charge of things on the pitch either.

Rashica, unlike some other signings, is at least a player where it's not impossible to imagine him joining for reasons other than just the money. Depending on the fee he could be a very reasonable signing. Though a club like Hertha having Cordoba, Piatek, Cunha, Lukebakio and Rashica, as well as Dilrosun (what happened to him, he looked quite promising initially) on the books is beginning to look random, imbalanced and bloated.

I personally never felt Kedhira was all that good a footballer, both technically and tactically. Older version of Emre Can.
(Pep's reaction to Hoeneß selling Kroos and offering him as a replacement was more or less "wtf? I'm outa here)". Well Hertha need every reinforcement they can get.
