He's an absolute top class LB and a guy you would love to have in your team but hate him when he plays for your rivals. If Shaw maintains form and stays fit, it would make much less of a feck up not getting him when we should have.

Seriously more should be made of what he did.

Or does it actually happen all the time and I’ve missed it?

No thanks, he can't defend like his mate TAA.

He's an utter twat. Probably the best fullback in the PL right now but not among the best we've seen in the PL, a notch below. None of which changes the fact that he's an utter twat.

Even his own teammates know that he’s a prick.

Not sure about Prem level, but happens all the time in your everyday pub game.

It's not a big deal - it never works and its just kinda funny.

As a Dundee United fan also, I watched Robertson for a good year in his breakthrough season. He was a genuinely humble, likeable lad who was respectful to teammates and opponents alike.

It's therefore bizarre to see how he is nowadays. Seems every player that signs for Liverpool becomes an absolute scrote (perfect description for 2021's Robertson) and becomes poisoned by the whole "this means more" nonsense.

I like him, he's a Herrera-type player who gives his all for the team and sometimes gets carried away. You want those types in your team.

Also, he's a fecking great player too.

Yep, Klopp himself was rather likable when he was a Dortmund and look at him now. That club poisons anything it touches.

That is not true. Klopp is now still very "likeable" if you don't follow everything he says. A lot of people who don't follow football a lot would say you that Klopp is their favourite trainer as he is such a down to earth guy and so sympathetic. He is funny and likeable when his team wins. It's just that you follow him now much closer and don't only see the nice parts of him as he is at our rival.

If you want to isolate examples, I can probably make Vidic look Championship level. Take your rose tinted goggles off.
Yeah but at the same time, many United fans deride AWB for having no attacking skills, so it was kinda funny to see him do that to the bestest left back ever

I would second this actually, I was a STH while he was at Hull city with Harry and he was a decent kid. It seems he’s bought into the ‘mentality’ thing at Liverpool, either that or success has made him a prick

It's a Liverpool thing, they are all wankers!
It was, but it also leads to daft sweeping comments like the one below :
It's not daft, I watch football.

The same daft sweeping comments are made when he assists or scores labelling him the best left back in the world whilst his defining is basic at best.

Its clear you don't. Robertson is generally known to be a very sound defender. Trent is the weak link form the defensive perspective (when they have a full squad).
A bad moment against AWB doesn't change that.

The first sentence of your post shows you have a clear bias when actually viewing the club.

I'm pretty sure I remember VVD being widely praised last year for screaming at an opposition player and putting them off when they had a shot.
Might have been against Spurs.
Maybe it's something they're actually being told to do on the training ground
