This.I think hes being facetious. Just like the joke on here that the price were paying someone is constantly going up. Alexis wage numbers went from 250k to 400k to 800k in the media.

It's because of this that I think a loan to Spain would be good for him.I always feel sorry for young players that are loaned out so quickly after joining a new club. That’s a lot of readjustment in a short space of time for someone who has only just moved out of his family home.
There is no harm in him tasting Belgium trophies and EL matches. What is more, participation in EL may also increase his transfer value in case we decide to sell him laterClub Brugge seen to be the favourites due to playing in the Europa League and competing for trophies domestically which appeals to Pellistri according reliable Belgian reports.

Same here. I'll be honest, it always casts doubts in my head over the actual qualify of the player given that we've not had many loanees come back up and become top class or even genuinely good first teamers. But I do hope he develops fast and comes back soon, as there's acclimatisation to English football he'll still need to do.I always feel sorry for young players that are loaned out so quickly after joining a new club. Football has changed. Their are two type of buys.Same here. On the flip side, they have apparently realized he is not ready to play for the first team nowI think him going on loan so quickly shows that United are impressed with him and have realised he's not going to gain much by staying in the U23s.
Or that given our current position and form its not really the time to try and break him into the team? Much easier to let someone else do it.On the flip side, they have apparently realized he is not ready to play for the first team now
OGS said he will play Diallo soon. It just means that manager thinks Diallo is (almost) ready and may be used in the first team now, when Pellistri is not and will be better off on loanOr that given our current position and form its not really the time to try and break him into the team?
Not sure what Diallo has to do with it? We know he's a bigger talent so I'm not surprised about that. He's also been playing in Europe alot longer so may acclimatise quicker than Pellistri. It would also be very difficult to try and integrate both into the first team at the same time, especially given we are placed quite well at the moment.OGS said he will play Diallo soon. But they are both our newly purchased right wingers who are of the same age. They play the same position, and it just explains how the management regards them compared to each otherNot sure what Diallo has to do with it?
I've just explained the likely reason. I mean you don't expect everyone to be at the same point in development at the same age surely? It's as if people are trying to paint a negative slant on this when I just don't see it. It's pretty obvious he's above the level of the reserves and needs exposure to the man's game. Obviously we don't feel ready to give him that yet so it's a no brainer to let him go elsewhere for a few months then re-evaluate in the summer when he can have a preseason with the first team. But they are both our newly purchased right wingers who are of the same age. fully agree with the aboveIt's pretty obvious he's above the level of the reserves and needs exposure to the man's game. Again. Didn't come on last game. You'd think the player they loaned to "save them from relegation" would be starting.Starts on the bench.
