I really can't see that happening tbh, as good a team as they are I just feel they cannot offer the whole package to these kind of players.

Him against that Barcelona defence was a total mismatch.
They made a very, very good lasting impression on him before he moved to PSG, the former Liverpool owners apparently flew him and his family around on a plane and tried to sign him.
I can see them going for him, only 1 year left on his deal come summer.

Agreed. As much as I like Haaland, I never understood why so many people were rating him above Mbappe in redcafe.

His nationality and he's more gettable.
He's a more complete player than Haaland, I think that much is obvious. But in terms of lethal finishers I think Haaland just edges it. But Mbappe has more to his game overall clearly.

Ohh for sure, no disagreement there, what I meant is Haaland looks the only other player out there currently that is showing they can perhaps reach those levels.
Interesting, did not know this however the same thing has happened to many other players before with no real outcome, quite famously I remember Odegaard got a tour of europe and still chose "the most famous club" , I can't remember Liverpool signing one of the best players in the world, it's just never been there style, PSG won't let him run down his contract and Pool don't seem to have that kind of reserves that would be needed to sign him, and then if it does come to him leaving on a free it will really depend where Liverpool are in 18 months, so much can happen in that period of time with football, they may have won another UCL and league by then (i feel sick saying that) or they could be out of Europe with Gerrard in charge and if that was the case no way Mbappe joins them.
Mbappe is heir apparent to CR7/Messi and the only player who looks like he is going to be at the moment. Stories linking him to liverpool are just delusional. They would have to smash their wage structure completely to get him on board. PSG have offered Mbappe a Neymar level contract €700,000 a week. Thats proper eye watering wages. If Madrid want him that bad, they gonna have to give him a helluva a financial package.
I fancy him for taking that spot. It helps that I really appreciate Ronaldo and that he is/was Mbappe's role model. So you know he might just as well have a lot of that same fortitude mentally, attention to his body, and longevity as Cristiano does.
I really like his overall game. I'm a fan since that Monaco CL run.

Pulled out of your arse that one. Mbappe was always regarded as top 5 players on caf and was also considered as much better than Neymar even though PSG fans rated Neymar as better player.

I too think as amazing as Mbappe is, Neymar is better. His technique is definitely better and so is his finishing. the main reason really that Neymar is looked down on is the theatrics. That being said, there's a strong chance mbappe will win the ballon dor before Neymar does.
He surely must have reservations about spending the rest of his career in the French League. Pay the extra 50m or whatever (compared to what Dortmund wanted for Sancho) and just get this lad. So many problems solved for so many years. I would want him to agree to less wages than what PSG are currently paying him though but that wouldn’t be a problem.

I think I agree. I’ve watched PSG a lot. When Mbappe is on his game like today, he is so explosive, virtually unstoppable. But their offensive game usually runs through Neymar, he pulls all the strings.
I‘d give Ney the edge at the moment but Mbappe is younger and you may be right that he will win the BDO before Neymar, who’s had the misfortune to be too close in age to Messi and Ronaldo.
If Neymar is going to win it, it’s got to be fairly soon. With Messi and Ronaldo declining, there may be a small window before the likes of Mbappe, Haaland and (possibly) Felix take over with these awards
