Rumours that Millie McKenzie, the UKs and one of the world's best young female wrestlers is finally signing with WWE and going to NXT UK. She was part of the speaking out stuff with allegations towards Travis Banks. He's been let go. She's also worked a lot with Meiko Satomura and Meiko's promotion in Japan Sendai Girls. I could see Meiko wanting Millie to be one of the talents she wants to put over eventually. Would be pretty much the best pickup for a very good division and at 20, she could be in NXT UK for a couple of years and once established could go to NXT by the age of 23 or 24.

I like Millie McKenzie, of the little I've seen of her. Thoughts this would happen sooner tbh, but she's only 20 so fair enough!

I think it probably would have but for the Travis Banks stuff, which was big for her. To the point where she didnt like wrestling anymore when she had to be on shows with him, or his friends. Now thats not an issue

I’m not an expert on the UK indies by any means, but Millie was one of the most impressive prospects at Fight Club Pro when I went to their shows. Even at 17 she seemed so natural in the ring.

I haven't seen Dynamite yes... but is "Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch" meant to be ironic? Its such a daft name

Should be a great match for those that like that sort of thing though! But still.

You've clearly never seen the King of Deathmatch tournament that Mick Foley won back in the day. Had a bootleg VHS of it somewhere. Absolutely mental.

Yeah I've seen the old Mick Foley ones... and a some CZW stuff, but yeah, the super violent stuff isn't for me.... I'm such a soft bastard I get more enjoyment if I know whatever bump they're doing is 100% safe

I love trashy hardcore matches so it'll be right up my street. Guys beating each other with fluorescent light tubes > Someone working a leg for 20 minutes.

I would love to know what type of money JR is on because it may be the greatest grift in wrestling history. The man has zero enthusiasm for the job, can't be arsed to learn the wrestler's names or moves, constantly gets things wrong and pervs on the women. Take the money you're paying JR and throw it at Mauro Ranallo.

I get this. I cringe at some of the shit Darby alin does for example.

Said this before and I'll say it again. Yes JR is a fantastic catch for AEW, backstage. shouldn't be anywhere near commentary and it was evident all the way back from their very first show.

He'd routinely make mistakes and people would bury their heads and act like it didn't happen. I know for a fact id have enjoyed AEW far more with him off commentary.

Excalibur too but that's just personal preference.

Agree with all of this esp the Mauro point

And given how great skeeovani has been in comparison after decades out of it, it makes JR look so bad.

JR was always getting things wrong, he just sounded more excited. I've been rewatching the PPVs from 2000 on the network, and there's so many times King points out his mistakes.

Isn't JR there purely so lapsed fans or people flicking through who used to watch recognise an old voice? He's was awful for years even before AEW, especially that NJPW show where he couldn't be bothered to learn anyone's name.

Roman Reigns is so fecking cool, never thought I'd see the day.
TBF, outside of his scripted stuff, he always did come across like a cool guy (mainly outside of the SD and Raw shows)

All signs pointing to Edge v Roman.

So the 2nd weirdest person to give magical powers of the year after Bliss is crowned as Edge can set off pyros with his fingers

I had a theory that Lacey wasn't actually pregnant, she was faking it and it was Ric teaching her how to be the "dirtiest player in the game" and she would've Pearl Harbour'd Asuka before the start of the match.
