Gabriel Veron's agent Lupercio Segundo:
These are situations that I cannot anticipate. There are talks with some clubs and the proposals are expected to become official. I believe that the proposals in the next market window will be inevitable. Palmeiras has a well-defined plan for Gabriel and we will follow it. European football? Gabriel Veron is a great player, I have no doubts about that. Despite his young age, he’s a mature athlete, who’s always proved to be decisive, he has many qualities and characteristics that are indispensable for today’s football.
According to this article, the majority of the links to Gabriel Veron are coming from Spanish and Italian outlets rather than Brazilian ones, which isn't normal.

Watford DoF Cristiano Giaretta:
He feels like a leader. He is a captain on and off the pitch and for me he is even among the strongest players in the world. We’ll see what will come in the summer: certainly in front of certain requests, you can’t ignore it, but for now he’s only concentrated on Udinese.

Argentinean newspaper Olé have a big story on Boca going after Cavani this summer.

Apparently, Cavani holds a secret promise with Riquelme, which is that he'll go to Boca Juniors when he's ready to return to South America. The story goes on to mention that Cavani could choose to leave United this summer instead of executing his 1-year player option. Apparently, Marcos Rojo will be used to lure Cavani over this soon along with a more homely, familiar environment in Argentina.

Did he really? I wasn't aware.
From what I remember, Moyes was seen with Kroos's agent and was also expected to watch 2 Gladbach players, one of which was Hoffmann.
Moyes was getting things prepared for the next campaign and more width was on the agenda.

Luis Suarez rules out a future move to North America, the Middle East, or China.

Luis Suarez to ESPN Uruguay:
"I don't even see myself in MLS or Qatar, I prefer to remain in the elite and Atletico de Madrid is the elite this year, for now and for the near future."

"Simeone, at my [older] age, continues to correct me and I accept it without a problem, because he is the coach."

Unfortunately, Hofmann doesn't offer much width, so that may move may not have worked out so well for us under Moyes.

Hofmann didn't join Gladbach until long after Moyes was gone at United, neither was he ever a proper winger. And it's only under Rose that he has made the next step onto a level that might interest top clubs.

That sucks for such a promising young player, but that does mean that other teams are back in for him.
Any idea why it's off? Free agent in the summer too. Looks a talented kid, sure he'll have plenty of interested clubs.

I don't know. There's nothing else on Twitter or anywhere else about this failing. Another journalist reported a while back that, whilst City had everything set up for him, Baah didn't sign a pre-contract agreement with them.

Interesting, admittedly only YT highlights (sigh) he looks raw but skilful and is strong as an ox!

The reason for that is because Rose may not bring any of his BMG players over to Dortmund.
With Bayern's money and the prices listed for Neuhaus and Camavinga I'm surprised they don't just do both deals this summer.

How is it hard to see United getting involved with this when United are in a much better position, both in the table and in terms of finances?
Only because of what we said last summer about not spending big money in a COVID affected market

So? It's an even playing field for everyone. Chelsea can't compete on that front. They might want to, but it doesn't mean they can match United. They've already blown their budget in an attempt to boost their chances.

Well it should be an even playing field but City & Chelsea still have the luxury of a big budget even in these restricted times

If he doesn't come here because of money, then it'll be stupid. Money is not an issue for United but the will and courage to risk it is more important.

Yeah does feel like we aren't willing to take the risk at the moment

Wait a minute. Yesterday, Pedrerol was reporting that Real Madrid wanted Haaland ahead of Mbappé, but now, they're undecided?
Plan A seems to be to sell players, hope that PSG want to negotiate and beg Mbappé to accept less, or much less money, compared to PSG renewal offer.
He said that Mbappé has to analyze the projection that Madrid gives him, etc.
Surely since they know that it is very difficult they begin to talk about Haaland

That makes sense. Mbappé is going to get paid really well by PSG if he sticks with them. They aren't necessarily facing the money issues that Real Madrid have. Plus, PSG are getting better in Europe, so it'd be easier for them to keep players.
