I highly doubt we will actually manage to get a deal for one of those players over the line.

Will probably be another summer of pointless gossip with us getting a couple of underwhelming signings late in the window
I don't think Sancho will be difficult.

I think Grealish makes the decision at Villa.

Haaland is highly unlikely.

I don’t even want a right sided forward until we’ve had a decent look at Diallo personally. I don’t see the point.

To me we need a new spine of centre half, centre mid and centre forward above all.
Yes. But if Sancho is available for ~ £65m, get him. Not sure there are any other right-sided forwards worth looking at.

You’re going to be gutted then. Ole isn’t buying a specialised defensive midfielder because he has no interest in playing one (you can argue the merits of that but it’s the way it is). I’m not remotely surprised that we aren’t linked to one; it just isn’t our playing model.

Quite rightly, I expect that we’ll prioritise a centre half and right winger. Gaping holes in the first team that are long overdue.
I’m not saying he should / would play with a single DM.

What I’m saying is we only have one true DM in the entire squad and he’s probably our oldest player (Matic.)

Hence why we have to field two player in Fred and McTominay, neither of whom are actual DM’s.

With a top level DM we can partner them with Pogba and bring the best out in him, like we see when Matic is fit and firing.

It’s not about changing shape but about improving players in that position that should be one of the priorities.

We concede far too many and neither of them are excellent playing the ball forwards. Either way what we have currently is a makeshift defensive midfield and I don’t expect to make big strides until it’s fixed.

The journalist who first reported on Boca Juniors going after Edinson Cavani now claims that it won't happen this summer.

Very highly rated talent. One of the best current Ajax academy players
How would you rank him amongst other forwards in his generation (Rutter, Balogun, Vlahovic, David, etc.)? Personally, given how raw he looked when I watched yesterday's Lille-Ajax match, I don't know if I'd consider him to be at the top level, but he still has time to iron out his game and get even better.

I haven't watched him this season, only in the Youth League last season I think. Was very impressed with him then. I don't think I'm the best person to compare him to those mentioned as I've not personally seen much of Rutter or Balogun. VLahovic I do really like though. David too obviously, He's making some good progress at Lille.

Very weird. Who's injured for 118 days with a "knock"?

Agent concern: Mino Raiola
Price: Bargain. Club contract with Ajax ends this summer.

Looks like an old-fashioned, battling, poacher-style, centre-forward. Well built for such a young player. Played a few matches in Jupiter (Dutch version) and Eredivisie, and scored a few goals. Did well for his age. Surely worth a punt? Then again, we have Greenwood, Hugill, and McNeil now; so maybe not? But he is a different kind of player to them; so maybe?

Probably due to the coronavirus break.

We'll get a replacement for Pogba if he leaves.

Otherwise I think we get a CB and one of the star signings of Haaland, Grealish or Sancho if they're available.
I think that's a mistake as well, if Pogba stays it'll be a money choice and we still have nobody to partner him in midfield, we don't need a flash attacker, it's the gold paint instead of an important engine part syndrome.

Brobbey has Dortmund written all over him, especially for free. Back up to Haaland for next season and then first team the season after when Haaland leaves.

Lot of rumors for him going to Leipzig too. Getting him on a free will be great business.

So United haven't even sat down with a player who controls the additional year option. Interesting...very American, if I may add.

This is now the third article now in the last week or so that suggests Utd are in no rush to sort out their summer transfer plans and the most worrying part about it is that it's coming from such strong sources as well

Time for a more normal Tweet.

Juan Bernat and PSG are very close to a contract extension until 2026. A total agreement has been reached, there remains a few details to settle before a signature on the Spaniard's new contract.

Brian Brobbey. Centre Forward. Just turned 19. Minimal fee as his contract ends next summer. Already a strong player. Good goal scoring record in Belgium and Holland for one so young. Represented by Raiola.
Can’t find anything on him having played in Belgium?
