I was probably a bit greedy going with Brehme first but leaving the round with zero left-backs is seriously annoying.
I was really disappointed with your drafting strategy in general in this draft. Playing too safe without much ambition in a draft without even 16 people is not a great idea.

Well I did get quite a lot of blocked picks with big names and I do tend to draft conservatively with sheeps in general. I suppose I could have left my tactical options open a little more for longer but if I had had been able to snap up a proper good LB I would have been reasonably happy with the side. Now I have to field a sheep.

Generally speaking @Physiocrat has always had a relatively unpredictable drafting strategy. I believe he likes to combine unpopular/underrated/ not very known player with some GOATS.
When I think about the teams he had in the last years, I have in mind some teams where you would find popular players like Best and other players I would consider a bit obscure because I don't know them.
He has always been 50% unpredictable.

@Edgar Allan Pillow is even more unpredictable in terms of starting 11/tactics while several are very predictable because they tend to always target the same type of players or names.

I would say I actually drafted conservatively and the result is zero sheep. The only exception was the last round where I felt I could afford to take a few risks.

Who were your last 2 picks?

Brutally accurate prediction. Let it be noted for the record that it was @Edgar Allan Pillow that screwed you on both Bergomi and Nesta!

I was an @Isotope away from a perfect round, with van Basten then Zoff then Passarella being the initial plan. Could have got Zoff in the last round of picks if I'd gambled but happy with Toldo anyway.
I'd have given up on Van Basten if I knew, sir. I mean, your attack of Pele, Best, and Hamrin is pretty weak.

A never-nude? I thought he just liked cut-offs.
No worries, any day bar friday is good for me
Thanks Sjor. Let's do Thursday then.

Wouldn't have killed you to be generous after I abandoned the goalkeeper hunt in the round when you picked Zoff and then Shilton :D .
