Was Lindelofs foul for Tuanzebe’s goal the correct decision?

We have to have some form of entertainment after that bore draw, and we got some good laugh's in with the opinions of this, that I want to laugh some more.

Please, have at it.

Someone said the defender fouled Lindelof. @diarm wasn't it?

EDIT:

He hasn't led with his knee. He's jumped trying to head the ball and because the defender hasn't made an effort to compete for the ball, he's taken the knee/thigh to the head.

If anything, it was a foul by the defender because he's made no attempt for the ball and completely taken out the attacker.

You either outlaw jumping for the ball or you let that goal stand. You can't just start penalising fellas for jumping too high.

100% foul and probably should be red as he's so far from the ball.

Question is IF he scored, would that be a foul but I feel we discussed it enough in the match day thread

It was like he suddenly photoshopped himself into the box. I didn’t even see the jump, he was just suddenly there 14ft in the air.

I still have no idea why Lindelof thought he could do that, utterly brainless.

How people can defend this is insanely mental. It’s a blatant foul

Foul, 100% going for the ball and unintended but didnt need to have his knee in that dangerous position and could have jumped normally with both legs under him. Didnt get the ball got his man in the face.

Much more of a foul than when Nani was sent off for a high boot when controlling the ball in europe years ago

A foul, but one that the defender didn’t deserve. Only got fouled as he was rooted to the spot.

Rather than debate whether it was a foul I think we need to appreciate it for the magical feat that it was.

Any UFC fans in here? Getting Masvidal v Askren flashbacks from that.

Anyone who thinks this isn't a clear foul, well, I don't think I'll ever want to ask him about any football rule from now on.

Should have been a red card - a knee in his face. It did not happen on purpose, but it was ruthless play

Lindelovers - "Omg redcafe posters. First they want more aggression from Lindelof, then when he uses a devastating MMA technique and K.O's his opponent they complain. He cant win"
