As @esmufc07 is busy bumping every thread of games he's completed. I thought, I would do him a favour.

My list is weak in comparison. Only finished BoTW DLC, Hitman 1, Gears 5 Hive and Astral Chain.

This year is most likely going to be people finishing their backlog with all the delays. Whoever finishes the most games should get some forum award. What do you think @Damien?

Touryst - 5
Forza Horizon 4 - 5
Far Cry 5 - 3
Stacking - 2
DQ11 - 5 (One of the best games I've played)
Monster Sanctuary - 5
F1 2020 - 3
Forager - 3 (Great concept, but mostly a grind)
Bully - 4 (Nostalgia from the PS2 days, doesn't quite hold up as well as I'd hoped)
Wreckfest - 3 (4 if it had more depth, gameplay was great)

Ghost of Tsushima. That's it.

I bought Crash 4 but the amount of collectibles in every level turned me off. Head-wrecking.

All I play now is Apex Legends.

That was me last year pretty much. I’ve hit over 5,000 games on my account so think it’s time to take a step back for a while and catch up on some games. Will no doubt get addicted at some point again though.

I want to see Death Stranding on that list. I don't know what to play next. I want to play Shenmue 1+2 as I didn't finish the originals, but after playing Yakuza for the last decade, I am not sure if the gameplay for Shenmue is going to hold up.

I will get to death stranding at some point.
Haven’t played Shenmue since the Dreamcast days.

It doesn't.

Even my nostalgia for the original was not enough to help me get through them.

Recommend me a game and not FF7. It has to be one that I own on PlayStation as I haven't touched the PS5 since finishing Spiderman MM. It has to be a minimum of 10-20 hours with maybe guns.

What about the third game?

Games I've beaten in 2021-

Assassin's Creed Valhalla
Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Concrete Genie
Spider-Man Miles Morales

With a bit of FUT 21 squad battles to just kill time. The highlight was packing the base version of our boy Bruno Fernandes, which radically reduced my game time as my only goal with FUT was to build a simple United/PL team with him in it.

Demon Souls
Spiderman Miles Morales
CyberPunk
Assasins Creed
Doom Eternal
Cold War
Metro Exodus

Loads of Valorant/CS on the side.

Meh, if the person has some sort of proof then I guess.

I'm not planning to go through tonnes of games. Just set myself a target of one Platinum per month (while I spend most of the year probably playing through Bloodborne). For January I got the last couple of trophies I needed for the first Uncharted plat. For February I've almost done the Control one but the game is a struggle to get through as it is so awful.

Good idea. I sort of do this already over on Neogaf (in the one of the two threads that doesn't make me hate the website).

Halo 1 (Good)
Halo 2 (Great)
Halo 3 (Good)
Little Nightmares (Good)
Call of the Sea (Okay)
Katana Zero (Okay)

I started control but really didn’t like the look of it, take it it doesn’t get much better? It’s annoying I got a single trophy so can’t even delete it from my list now:lol:

Just kept getting worse for me. The only positives were that there is an invincibility option and one-hit kills so I didn't have to spend any more time in the game than necessary.

Finished Rise of the Tomb Raider earlier. Good game but no desire to find all the collectibles and stuff.

Gonna do Broken Sword 5 next. Fancy a point and click game.

You didn't have to share this. Could have just ended it at a good game.

Now I remembered why I platinum games to make it longer. I’m so fecking bored that I’ve played everything. Just finished RE: 3. Great game, really enjoyed it. More action and the dodging was a handy thing to add in. Wasn’t so afraid of Nemesis since Mr. X prepared me for this.

I’ve finished a significant amount of games so far this year. I’ve not much else to be doing

Maneater - decent
Bugsnax - decent
Streets of Rage 4 - ok
Ori will of the wisps - 10/10
Gears 5 Hivebusters DLC - good fun, better than main game
The Medium - poor
Tropical Freeze - terrific
New super Mario U deluxe - superb

And for no apparent reason I completed every old Mario game on the Switch SNES app, so all 4 Mario All-Stars games and Mario world. And used no warps. Almost finished Donkey Kong country. I know all them well as I played them all to death as a kid, but I am using the rewind feature a lot

Spiderman Remastered
Spiderman Miles Morales
God of War (2018)
God of War Ascension

Been playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 on the PS4 for nostalgia and gave up on FIFA cos it's shit and CoD Black Ops cos I couldn't abide with the rabid American exceptionalism that was in that particular game. I've also given up on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance cos the final boss was an absolute arse ache to beat and I couldn't get past him.

I've downloaded The Last of Us and Yakuza 0 so I'll be moving on to those soon and then I'll move onto the rest of the GoW and Metal Gear series I think.

Cyberpunk
Gears 5
Hivebusters
Gears 4
The Medium
The Last of Us 2

Currently alternating between Forza 4, Hitman 2, God of War, RDR2 online and Yakuza Kiwami depending on the mood so kinda up in the air what comes next. Let alone getting round to try Doom and the Halo games!

I’m working on AC Valhalla after putting it down to play Cyberpunk.

I would’ve completed Wasteland 3 but it crashes all the time on Xbox One.

Control is great and you're wrong.

But what don't you like about it?

What was Outlast like? I’ve got those two downloaded, I’ve read they’re quite short but good?
I didn't enjoy them.

The first one starts off ok but quickly gets annoying and repetitive. You rely on a camera for vision a lot but it has limited batteries which quickly run out. Then you spend ages in pitch black trying to find your way, and if a bad guy sees you, it's a one hit kill for him. There's a bit in a courtyard that nearly all in darkness and impossible to try figure where to go. I nearly gave up there.

Outlast 2 is a little more forgiving with the batteries and the game is more open plan so you can outrun bad guys easier. For these reasons, I preferred it. It wasn't amazing but I finished it faster than the first and enjoyed it a little more. It helped that I prefer cult stories over mental asylums.

Found @esmufc07

An 86-year-old grandpa from China’s Sichuan province has finished more than 300 video games in the last 20 years. Yang Binglin spends his morning practising ping pong, but afternoons are reserved for video games. He plays for 3 hours every day and loves horror-themed games the most. He has almost 200,000 followers on the country’s social media platforms.
