He needs to be off penalty duties. You can see he completely telegraphed it. Looked at at same spot twice. Henderson was off his line but I think it would have been saved anyway.

He was brilliant tonight. Justified the start over Aguero
Big time, normally he's good on the left and poor up top, but he was excellent when he went to CF tonight too. A bit cheaty on the Ramos red but I can live with that.

One week ago he was being murdered for his display vs West Ham.
Done OK since.

He's that kind of player though, when he's off he looks horrid, because he throws himself about and balls run away from him etc.. His attitude is great though. When he's on, like tonight, he can be great (though he still spurns a few chances) Should have had at least 2, probably a hattrick

He's always on in his defending from the front role. It can't be stressed enough just how much his contribution helps the team in that respect.
His finishing is very hit and miss but 18 goals in a team with Aguero and Sterling getting so much playing time and gilt edge chances ain't bad going for a 22yo player.

I've been impressed most times I've seen him this season. When you're comparing a 22 year old with someone as prolific as Aguero it's always going to be difficult, but he's proved his worth.

He's a good player but I expected...more. Thought he was supposed to be very skillful? At the moment he plays like a glorified Chicharito.

He's actually incredibly skillful, I think its the role he's playing. In a Brazil shirt he looks particularly amazing which is weird because he had such a bad world cup. He looks a bit cumbersome though... Think this video actually shows he's at his best out wide and not the reliable finisher too.

His workrate is phenomenal even when he's off. He runs himself into the ground, clearly a guy who loves playing football too.

1. Not that there's anything wrong with that... Chicha got too much flack when he was with us

2. Jesus is literally Chicha's opposite. Great at everything except being decisive in front of goal. If you merged today's Jesus and 2011 Chicha, Real would have bought that player by now.

Jesus has 33 G+A contribution for City this season while being mainly a bench player until Aguero injuries.

In comparison KdB has 37, Sterling has 35 and Mahrez at 26 he's definitely performed a lot better then people give him credit for.

He's a good player, works hard. He's just not an elite finisher.

This might be the best description of a player i've seen. Perfect :D

Never changed my opinion on him: he's the world's most ideal second striker. Doesn't moan about not playing, scores ~20 goals a season. Not every young player has to become the world's best, even when they're Brazilian forwards. If we get rid of him because he's not Aguero's replacement we'll be struggling to find another player of his age, talent, and potential who doesn't have ideas above their station. He's not Aguero's replacement, he's Dzeko's.

He’s going nowhere unless he wants to.
Pep loves his contribution.

Yep, he's useful. Have worried about him at points over the last 18 months but he's turning into a good all-round forward. Needs to sharpen up in front of goal because he misses some glaring chances, and he needs to go easier on himself because he can let it get on top of him when he's in a bad run of form. But we signed him on the cheap (think about what the market is like), he's happy to play second fiddle, and he can play basically anywhere in the final third. He's got a pretty unique skillset and I think we'd be stupid to get rid of him. Thankfully Pep seems to agree.

He keeps improving. He is a player that needs to play multiple games to get in his groove. His finishing needs a lot of work but he can always improve in that area. He needs to model his game after Lewandowski. I believed City needed another elite striker to take them to another level but I hope he can step into that role.

Just seen the opta tweet on here about 73 goals and 22 assists in his last 113 starts. That is a very good record as I rate him but always felt he didn’t score enough. What does the Caf think of him ? Only 23 still

Absolutely brilliant squaddie but not a good enough starter. In saying that, his stats for his age are amazing.

He plays for one of the best teams in the world. Like most of Citys attackers that boosts their stats. He’s a good player but far from great. Significant downgrade on a prime aguero.,

Ok, so, they've framed the statistics in a curious way.

I don't think he's started 114 games. He's played 10,260 minutes, which if you divide that into 90 min full games comes to exactly 114.

He's been involved in 182 games totally 10,260 mins and scored 80 goals.

And how many of those goals have come against lower league sides in the league cup? Didn't he score 6 against one team a season or two ago?

Did he ? That is why I bumped the thread I rate him but I always felt like he doesn’t score enough and then I seen that stat and it makes it look like he scores a lot. I guess it’s a stat that makes him look better than he does. I feel he lacks goals but at 23 he is still young
