Comfortable man of the match and he’ll be key to us winning something if he stays fit now.

Feck me, some of the hate this guy gets is despicable. Hope Paul is the matchwinner tomorrow and can shut these clowns up. Not criticizing everyone that thinks he's been underperforming or that he should be sold, just the ones that think there's some ulterior motive behind him playing well.
Get fecked, haters.

Sign that contract. We won't get a better player than him in that position

Think that position off the left could really suit him. Especially as Rashford has been horseshit for ages.

I’m sick of hearing these comments” he’s a luxury player”. We’ve missed him and it’s bloody obvious. We play ten times better with him on the pitch, it’s the harsh reality.

La Pioche

He stays fit, we finish second and probably win a cup.

Made a huge difference. Tempo of the whole team seemed to lift. The difference in quality between him and McFred is pretty stark.

Only bugger in our squad who both knows how and actually wants to run down the clock.

Gets points from me for that

Was worried he might be back to his post corona form before he found himself but he was fabulous, he’s a proper footballer and be happy to see him sign on again.

Keep going Paul, we will get a nice fee soon!!
So we can buy another Donny VdB?

The man has saved this shower of a side on multiple occasions this season but yes let’s sell him for another Fred; the stupidity of such comments is incomprehensible.

“Keep going, our best player on the night, we’ll sell you & play bank notes next season”

The man was PotT last time we won it, put some damn respect on his name.

His return is going to be huge for the rest of the season. Totally re-invigorated the team in the second half.

Quick seal the contract.

I'm sorry about anything I said about earlier. I was always wrong. He's so fecking important for us.

Forget the long range passes and Pogbooms, he gives us so much just by beating his marker and getting attacks going quickly. His speed of play means everyone else in the team gets a little more time on the ball and space to play in.

We need to not rush him back, but he'll be integral if we're going to finish this season strongly.

Fairly fecked without him next season but so be it.

We have no-one with even a fraction of his ability to receive the ball in midfield and surge forward

4 goals and 2 assists in 28 apps this season says it all. Scott Mctomminay even has better stats than that and he doesn't have half the ability Pogba does.
I know this sounds offensive, but when I read this type of comments I seriously question whether there's even any point in debating things. I mean, how poor does your understanding of football have to be that you base how a player is performing on goals and assists (especially for a midfielder)?
Good when he came on. Changed the game and saved us.

Still don't expect him to start for a while. Looked way too bulky and slow today. Needs time to get properly fit again.
Agreed, we're lucky there's the international break where he'll hopefully play some games to recover fitness. And also, good choice by Ole not to start him. He wouldn't have lasted the 90 minutes

I hope he wants to stay and extend his contract. If he's motivated to stay and play well, we're a much better team with him in it.

Rolls royce. Always at his best with two engine-room midfielders playing as well, which can make it difficult to fit him into the team - you can see today that he thrived because he wasn't having to do the nitty gritty because McT and Fred were doing it.

Maybe leave him in that false wide position and give Rashford a proper rest.

Welcome back Pogba  instantly raised the team the minute he came on.

When he's in the mood, he really can be unstoppable. He and Shaw are both unique in that they are so elite both technically and physically, opponents can't get near them.

He’s been awful for around 3 years now, the fact he’s going through his usual 1-2 month run of good form does not change that.

He’s front 4 player I’ve always said it but he can be replaced with real quality in Grealish.

If he has brilliant concentration all the time he’d be unbelievable but he doesn’t, thanks for the goal but still want him sold, there are a lot of front four players who are better than him.

If we never win a major trophy with Pogba in the team we have massively let him down. He is just an absolute joy of a footballer and frankly I feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t enjoy watching him play. Different class.

I’d rather keep Pogba and add Grealish. That would be special. What we need to replace is dross like James and even to some degree Rashford.
