This is what I said - personally most of the players that deal with Raiola as an agent have a poor intelligence or mentally egotistical issues.
Nah, the players are just as much at fault as Raiola. I'm sure they have conversations very often and these things are discussed, so Raiola is definitely sharing how Pogba feels as well, it always works like that with agents.

The way I see it, there's no shortage of talent, and you can build word class teams without a single Raiola client. I don't see why we trouble ourselves with him, it isn't worth it for any player.

All this blah blah and still no suitable offer for Paul Pogba in the last 3 years.

He's doing a terrible job with Paul.

Read Ibra's book and you will see why players like him, and possibly why players need agents. Doesn't mean he isn't a massive arsehole, but the club and fans are not his clients, so as long as they are happy with him I doubt he gives two shites. The problem is Raiola can only work when is his clients give him something to work with and Pogba for all the bluster has done nothing in ages really.

So do you reckon that everything Raiola has been doing around the Pogba situation is just to garner more attention to his client, because no club is willing to pay the required transfer fee, wages and agent commission?

Personally I hope he signs and stays, even with all the drama associated with him, he just takes us up a level when he plays well. However if he doesnt sign and signs for someone on a free in Jan I hope he gets the living shit booed out of him at every single game until he leaves.

He's under pressure to get pogba to Madrid. Probably lose pogba as a client if it doesnt happen this summer. Cant possibly miss out on all that signing on money he will get for taking pogba to Madrid in summer of 2022 if pogba switches agents this autumn.

He wears being hated by every manager like a badge of honor. Unfortunately he has a lot of the best players in the world on his book. I guess a lot of players feel like having an asshole for an agent will benefit them more than it can hurt them and unfortunately they might be right.
Besides Pogba and Haaland who high profile player does he have?

I think he makes way too much noise for what he actually moves. If not for Haaland he wouldn't have a card to play.

Well true it's not like he has all of the big names under contract but don't think that's a bad batch of players to be an agent for.
Didnt knew De Ligt and Verrati were under him, he also has some promising ones in Thuram, Gravenberch and Ihattaren. A shame he keeps attracting promising players, I think it would be easy to ban him, a metting between the top 10 clubs in the world making a statement that they wont negotiate with Riaola and all his big names would fire him.

I've read this a few times now - this notion of clubs rallying around to get him banned. All that would do is create a rift between themselves and his clients, not to mention their families who are, as one should expect, the greatest influencers in a players' life.

Raiola also wouldn’t go down quietly; the media would be the first to know about such a conspiracy.

For all the 'bad' Raiola does to clubs, he does equally 'good' by his stable of players; this notion of players dumping someone who gets them the best possible deals and has greased them and their familys' palms since they were teenagers because clubs say so, is not rooted in reality.

Raiola would need to not be an enticing proposition for top players and upcoming special talents for his schtick to no longer, well, stick. That's never going to happen because he brokers deals that are exceptional and further to that he puts himself out there like a human shield for his clients drawing nearly all the ire to himself whilst taking instruction on next steps in a grander scheme.

I should imagine he's as much a dream agent for them as he is a loathsome individual for those who have to deal with him on the other side of the table - players are not going to give that up, and from their POV, it's obvious why they wouldn't.

“Pogba does not want to extend his contract with Manchester United, if he could choose he would go back to Juventus because he has remained closely linked to the club. But he has a very high salary.”

Wouldn't mind including Bentancur in a swap - he'd be a reasonable Matic replacement. We'd need a creative player to stick alongside him, though.
Juve have any amount of players we could be interested in to be fair. Regarding Ronaldo and Pogba I think it would be a bad deal for us to give up a player who could still improve a lot for a player who has peaked and is on the way down. Ronaldo would expect to be the main man here and I think it’s the wrong call this late in his career. We should be looking to go for players on the way up. All the free transfers, loans, swaps and stopgaps are fine but we need to do more if we want to challenge anytime soon.

Nobody hates Riaola because he gets the most money for his players, we hate him because he's has no respect whatsoever.

He talks trash about Sir Alex and about our club. I dont get why would that had anything to do with getting the best deal for a player or get all the attention to himself.

So you think a byproduct of procuring these contracts and getting deals that benefit his clients just as much, or more, than the club isn't going to put noses out of joint, particularly of fiery characters who will call Raiola out for his antics?

You think it's coincidence that he's had the clashes he's had with the people he's had them?

I have no faith in the club replacing him with a player that has even half his quality.

Wouldn't put it past us to not replace him at all, à la Lukaku.

What a poor transfer this was.

He will probably try to leave for free if he doesnt get to move having cost us 90 million.

Egotistical player like Zlatan, Lukaku, Lingard, Balotelli, Haaland and the money hungry Verrati.

Such a weird type of player to still want Raiola after his relationship with clubs.

I mean the absolute meltdown if we lose him not once but twice to Juve on a free transfer, after paying 90 million pounds to bring him back,

I honestly think that in itself is a sackable offence for Ed , what a mess that man is when it comes to running a football club

We have to replace him and replace him well, we need another midfielder that has quality on the ball next to Bruno Fernandes. Donny van de Beek, Fred, McTominay aren't enough in this regard.
