Was only the other day you were saying Civ VI was in it.

Part of the subscription - same as PS+.
My source said there was a change of plan. It's days gone. Enjoy your days gone, zombie army and Oddworld.

 imagine including this as part of a subscription. Unheard of.

Why do I want to buy an Xbox series s with the gamepass subscription? I mean it's a great deal and it's shiny and nostalgia for old consoles probably
I did this and am very happy with my purchase.

Side note, do you need to download the Gold games to have them free forever? I haven't done that this month, but I'm wondering whether I should do it today and then delete the games just to make sure I can always play them. Will that work?

I assume it is like PS+ in that all you need to do is 'add to library' or whatever similar button they have and not download.

I'm gonna presume so, usually have to be in your download list.

Go back to PES and get out of this thread. I am pretty sure even though I haven't played PES in years, I would still beat you PESBO.

Did they ever formally announce a next gen patch for Doom Eternal?

I might be waiting to play it for no reason.
Theres an article about it on their website so i presume at some point.

The engines that good i think the difference won't be that huge with the upgrade either way the game runs and looks excellent.

You probably would actually, I’ve been at my Dad’s for the past 5 months and playing on his crappy broadband connection and my rating has dropped by around 300 points :(

Yeah what Damien says - add them. Depending on your settings it might start downloading/installing, you can just cancel that.

Depends on the way you look at it. The subscription, to me at least, is the game pass library and online play. This is a free addition.

If I do a buy 2 get 1 free deal. I treat the free unit as 'free', I guess you would treat that as not free. Semantics I suppose. I don't see the issue in the games being average because I don't pay for that, it's like finding a 50p on the street.

Its more the semantics of having to pay to play a game online that always bothered me in the console arena, i suppose at least they are trying to give it more value for money these days!

I was top 10 in the world for PES 2004 and 2005 online, when PES took skill and no momentum crap. I was playing it on Xbox as there was no online on PS2 versions and quite frankly PS2 online was terrible. There was always this cheating Scotsman who was number 1, he would cheat and somehow not end up with any losses. I would have no problems dealing with you Pesbo.

I totally agree - I pay £3.50 a month for game pass for the next 3 years. That includes online play. Couldn't see myself paying solely for online and especially not at the rip-off prices quoted.

Had 360 during the 05-09 heydays then moved to steam. Come back to console as the new Series is sleek and easier to fire up when I have limited time.

That’s a really lovely story, thanks for sharing. I can see myself retelling it again and again.

No, you can’t unless you want a lawsuit from me. Online gaming was much better back then too as no chavs like you and the other apex predator. Also, this is the Xbox thread. Do you have any interest in Xbox? Why are you here? You are in the wrong place, so hit the bricks.

Surprised you couldn't stream previous gen games before. Good news for those interested.

Who is Pedro?
its a first streaming without needing to be connected to your Xbox on the same network. I think there are other ways also to remote play, but that depends on hardware. So this is cool to have a fully cloud option with just your phone and you can’t be arsed with Candy Crush

I stream to my work PC upstairs for a few games now and then.

I'd love to see the amount of people that use these features on the regular, can honestly say i've never bothered on any console in streaming games i'm guessing its a very very small percentage of the userbase.

The Xbox wireless headset is back in stock on the Microsoft site, if anyone was looking for one.

imagine paying people for their work.
So if someone called you tomorrow and said, Elvis/prat. Your name has been pulled out of a hat to get a free Series X are you going to say no because it's immoral?
