So consistent, and at such a high level. His close control is so good, and I love how he sometimes cuts inside and finds a path out of trouble through midfield. Coupled with him having gotten so much better at passing and crossing, he’s in with a shout for world’s best LB these days, I feel.

He must have one of the best first touches at United right?

So good to see him have a big string of games and look so fit and healthy and putting in consistent number of great games

He's like a kid in a sandbox at the moment. Just trying things out, and absolutely everything seems to come off. Ole should challenge him to try and become our key playmaker, because he absolutely has the tools for it.

Reminds me a bit of Philip Lahm at the height of his powers. Except build like a brick shithouse.

That is a lovely pass from Shaw. Makes it look easy but he actually fades it out as well to make it easier for Fernandes to get onto.

A complete monster of a player.

Best full-back in the league.

I'm so happy he's doing well.

pass and performance aside has anyone noticed whenever something kicks off Shaw is always there. Remember back in the Jose days about him storming the oppo changing rooms because they were celebrating too loudly and rubbing it in and yesterday started throwing Dunk about.
Does seem to have a bit of a nasty streak in him, like he’s nobodies push over.

He's just about the last person at United I'd want to pick a fight with, he's such a unit but he does also seems like a mean bastard whenever the game calls for it.

Just one silky bastard. Is there a finer sight in World football right now than Luke Shaw in full flow?

Shaw. He won’t let you down.

Definitely. And he's not a dirty player type of hard, giving away loads of free kicks steaming into people, just solid and takes no shit. Honestly he's pretty much the ideal full back.

He is a fabulous footballer, don't think it is an exaggeration to say he is one of the elite group in this league with the ball at feet, superb technique, composure and awareness.

Definitely, their are very few players in England who are as good as him on the ball. I really would love to see him tried out at DM, I think he'd be phenomenal.

Think it was fatigue. Was struggling keeping up, and considering how much he's played, and the distance he covers, it's quite understandable as well

What’s been suspended got to do with been taken off ?
I assumed he was taken off to give Telles some game time in order to be match fit against Granada in the return leg (which Shaw got suspended for). Just speculation of course.

Late to the party here, but what kind of children do you know? The ones I know make a right mess out of most things and eat half of the bloody sand.

Ole said in the post match press conference that he had to "protect" Shaw but he should be okay for the weekend.

Sounds like a knock where he could have carried on with?
If that's the case the sub worked perfectly

Telles got game time and will get the same second leg, if Shaw is fit for the spurs game he then gets a whole week rest (well except training) and can focus on Burnley

Protect, as in, not get sent off.

The ball he played to Bruno with the outside of his foot was ridiculous, also loved the way he went through Kane late in the 2nd half.
