With that being said, I think Dembele is still 23... will be 24 later this year and has the ability to turn his career around like Robben did. I have a strange feeling he ends up at Arsenal.

I've been a huge proponent of Dembele and I like Martial as well but I feel both players need a change of environment in order to better themselves. There's a lot of bad vibes around Barcelona at the moment. Martial on the other hand is too languid in his nature and desire to score goals and win trophies. I think Martial would perhaps perform much better in a Dortmund team compared to United in the PL where the competition is intense.
So you are saying Martial to Dortmund and Dembele to Utd then

The only positive for him right now is that he's still healthy. However, he's not producing in the big games, he's not providing the help, creativity, and penetration Barcelona needs in the big games that he's fully capable of. It's not looking great for Ousmane right now, but it's still too early to say anything about the rest of his career. Just like he went from one of the biggest talents to a bust, so can it go the other way if he manages to keep his health and strings seasons together.

If we could get Dembele for 30-35m, I would do that deal. That would allow us to get Grealish as well. Martial to Dortmund will help with good will when we try to get Haaland in summer of 2022.

Barca is a toxic environment at the moment. He should move on to resurrect his career. I could see him pushing for a Juve move in the summer.

He’s got killer attributes but the last thing we need is another risky speedy player who’s first inclination is to cut inside. Add the injuries and questions over his mentality and it’s a no from me. I said I’d be up for getting for him for 50 million or on loan but he’s not really what we need. Too big of a risk for us in a position we need a big hit in

I wouldn't say Dembele's first inclination is to necessarily cut inside, he's just working with what he's got and that's probably the instructions he's given. At Dortmund, he was crossing it left and right for Aubameyang and setting him up for fun.

PSG basically nullified letting Mbappe staying up top waiting on counters by allowing Dembele to do the same to them... and it worked a treat.

Dortmund must still be pissing themselves over getting Barca to pay what they did for Dembele, so happy we didn’t go for him.

He's actually been in good form in the last month or so. Still an unreliable finisher and probably close to another injury, but he's great fun to watch

Saved Barcelona with a last minute goal there to keep them in the title race. His finishing is woeful, but he has definitely been one of Barcelona's best players this season. If he works on his finishing, he can become one of the best players in the world. His contract is running out, and Barcelona are looking to tie him down but apparently United are asking about him. I would love to see him here, he is a special player when on form and to have both him and Greenwood as two-footed players that can play anywhere on the front three would be a huge bonus for Ole in his team selections.

We have no interest in him anymore since we bought Diallo. Ole would have taken him on loan but not anymore

Diallo is nowhere near ready or capable of impacting the game like Dembele can right now. He's not a solution for the RW at the moment, he's a prospect and let's see what happens. Would you turn down Sancho as well because Diallo is on the team (and behind James right now)?

Do you honestly think the Glazers spend what could be up to 40 million on a new super kid, only to replace him a few months later with another super kid? Seriously slap yourself across the face with a wet fish and try to come back to your senses.

It's very possible Lingard will be asked to play right attacking midfield next season due to sensational form, with Diallo slowly eased into the team, as Lingard deputy. Not a chance Ousmane will be coming here mate.

Lingard and Diallo, way to keep the team mediocre.

I don't know whether there's a chance or not, it's just reported there's interest in him from United's side, since they already considered it last summer. Diallo is a project, it's silly to put this kind of pressure on him this early when he's barely kicked a ball professionally. If he comes good, it should be cherry on top, not all-in with a wing and a prayer.

He was awful and yet came up with a goal. He's become a lot more important to this Barca team but his finishing and sometimes decision making are still really bad. He'd definitely frustrate a lot of fans if he ever came here.

You’re not comparing Sancho & Dembele, are you?

Sancho is still going to be a relatively difficult transfer target, although he's by far the best option out there and someone I'd take over even Haaland right now, but Dembele is one of the better alternatives if he manages to stay fit as he has so far. I feel it's a lot less silly than turning up your nose at the prospect of a player like him because you have Diallo and Lingz. Best thing Lingard can do is attract a nice big fee off the back of his performances to help get a Sancho, I wouldn't rely one bit on him because he's just not made to be at a club like United IMO. Seems more like the kind to be able to play his game without much pressure, not gonna happen here.

There is a huge risk with him only playing when his renewal time is up, there is a chance he will go back to video games after he gets what he wanted.

I feel like the money folk at United would probably look at him as better economic value than Sancho. Obviously depends on how desperate Dortmund are for cash and how desperate Barca are but you would think out of the two Dembélé would cost less.

Take in to account Amad development. Like do they truly think he could be something special you’d probably go with Dembele.

Yup... that Sancho money could be used to get Dembele and Patson Daka which could solve our issues upfront. The remainder of that transfer budget could go to solving the DM & CB issue.

Since his hamstring injury in December, he has played 22 games, 5 of them have been less than 45 minutes.

Apologies I misread that table upside down! still not convinced that he isn’t a massive injury gamble. Barca won’t be selling him cheap anyway

They won't have a choice when his contract runs out in 12 months time

I think some are too quick to judge players who are not even 24 years old. His attitude, professionalism, and fitness has been poor in the past, but right now he seems to have grown up. He's eating better, he's resting, he's healthy and doing good things for Barcelona. His finishing is his biggest stumbling block, but he is a great winger on his day that has genius in his feet at times, but still a lot of fat in his game. I think his attitude issues are behind him, but if Barcelona are silly enough to let him go for a reasonable fee (doubtful at this point), I would 100% give him a shot. He still has so much room to grow and he has an ability that you can't teach.

Glad to see him in form. He was in his own way for a long time, apparently he had an awful diet, poor in training and rehab but if he has matured off the pitch he could easily jump to being a megastar
