Here is the reaction of Rawk to Klopp's comments on Neville:

Quite a fun bunch over there aren't they
You'd be mad if you think Klopp came out looking well here. In the grand scheme of things pundits should be irrelevant to him, you are adding to their value by responding and namechecking them.

That forum is a fecking cult. Different response from what I've seen from Liverpool fans on twitter.

Good job by Klopp though. Deflect from the main issue and get the fanbase riled up about Gary fecking Neville. Pathetic man.
Scary world where the logical football fans are the ones hanging around on Twitter.

To be fair though. I think Klopp does have a point, it's not the Staff, Managers or Players fault, yet they're the ones that will shoulder the majority of the critism because they're the face and branding of each club. Obviously he's going to defend his staff and players from negativity, it's his job. He's defended his chairman and the owners though which is where the real issues lie, ultimately he's in bed with the devil right now so tough shit Klopp. I will feel the same way if Ole comes out and defends the Glazers and Woodward and i've been one of Oles biggests fans on here, defending him from day 1.

If you truly love football like these guys claim then you have to make a stand against shit like this otherwise you're part of the problem.

and this is why there will never be a united voice in football. Too much tribalism and bickering . Klopp just missing the entire fecking point

Reddit isn’t too bad for that to be honest. Most of RAWK will probably be against the ESL but like carra said people will back klopp to the hilt. I’ll back klopp completely unless he endorses the super league, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think he needs to be given the message that this isn’t a personal attack by Gary Neville.

I agree with him on that but Neville never said it was the clubs fault. He made it clear that it was the owners who are dragging the club through the mud. Klopp obviously didn't listen to him and was picking a fight because he doesn't like him. I don't get how Neville followed the money at United. He came through the academy and was at the club for 20 years through merit. Bizarre comments.

Amazing isn't it?

Neville made the point earlier in the day that we should put aside our allegiances and come together in opposition of the ESL, and he was absolutely right, then Klopp goes and does the opposite.

RAWK unsurprisingly backing Klopp to the hilt too. Sigh.

Klopp came across so poorly in his interview. Really missed the point. Kept talking about t-shirts. What is it with Liverpool and t-shirts.

In a weird way, this might even strengthen the business case for the ESL.

People could end being fans of one PL team and one ESL team, safe in the knowledge that they play in different leagues. A bit like a United fan might have favourite Spanish team.

It remains to be seen how everything will play out. But it wouldn't surprise me if the stronger the divide, the more secure each product will be.

A Manchester derby at 4am in Miami is something we all dream of.
Why is this keep getting branded around it's a european tournament designed to be played at home and away, no team will play in America and the naming rights won't become Manchester Red Devils Fire Rapids or whatever concoction someone makes up. It's getting ridiculous. This will not happen.

No it isn't a rebranding. The clubs that are 'permanent members' are there on reputation rather than merit which is what the champions league is all about.
No its not. The UCL is all about money. All about money 100%.

The champions league as it stands has nothing to do with champions at all. By the very nature of it "champions" the tournament, should be the "champions" of each league in europe. But it's not its the champions plus 3 extra teams that are in it just because UEFA arguably want to make more money from it. It's not the champions league at all. It's the top half of each big league and some other champions from other smaller competitions. Which is effectively unfair in itself anyway & gatekeeping the smaller countries champions from competing. Since I can remember no team outside the bigger leagues in Europe have won it apart from England, Italy, France, Spain and Germany. I know there'll be the odd one or two, but the point is the UCL is dominated by those big leagues because there are so many more teams from them leagues in it than a team from Turkey for example.

That's what it all boils down to for both sides of the argument. Money.

Don't blame them at all. Why would rest of the league put them in position to be treated differently because of popularity?

Chose. Super League (with 20 games) for kids with videogames or stay and honour your heritage, history and fans?

This so called "superleague" is a joke, even if Bayern, Dortmund and PSG joined it, normal CL would still be 1000 times better. Yes CL/EL could need some changes but this aint the solution...
