Need to make sure 50+1 is brought in if the Glazer's do sell. This farce will happen again if we don't get some fan ownership.

Perez was right, that was some super fast entertainment. Everyone enjoyed it and it is saving football.

Looking forward to the next one.

Yeah, I was about to make a note of a few names today but it seems a bit late.

However @crossy1686 definitely is top of the list.
 Doesn't bother me mate! As I said previously, I'm not for or against a SL, I just want to see elite teams play in elite competition and I also said I wanted to wait and see the full extent of the details before deciding if this was a good idea or not. Looks like the house of cards is coming down now though, fecking mental what's happened these last few days.

You can be against it and also think that the people who proposed it were entitled to do so.
The people won, they withdrew, coming up with random things to punish the clubs who proposed it to try to make sure noone ever steps out of line sure sounds like an authoritarian mindset to me.
Just because clubs are withdrawing it doesn't mean that the fans have won. Not at all.

Boris wont do anything to help the fans after this but hopefully at least something happens. The clubs need to remain in the hands of the fans who support them.

Club should belong to the people of Manchester and the people of Great Britain.
Spot on mate. Government get off your arse and get this 50.1% in, this was nothing but a warning shot, these scumbags will continue to treat fans like "legacy fans" and real football fans do not deserve it.

All these clubs boards know very well this was their last chance to dominate the sport financially and with it canceled they'll have to return to UEFA who sure as hell will treat them like shit after what they did.

This was their last gamble and it backfired. I expect most of the boards to jump out of the ship.

Woodward the fall guy here. Not that I mind. Shows at least the Glazers are nervous enough to try and deflect some of the reputational hit onto someone else.

This day is one of the happiest days in the clubs history just one step below the treble 1999 day.

So Ole didn't just get rid of the deadwood in the team, but also outside it.

This club has fans all over the World, many who travel to see them playing whenever they can. Why should it belong to the people of Manchester and Great Britain? Do you think that the players should also only come from there? That is some first class Brexit nonsense.

That's what I fear won't happen.
Yeah it will be the usual kicking the can down the road like it never happened and 5-10 years later some new owners will chance their arms. Inevitable aswell imo a CL final will take place outside europe at some stage imo, perhaps even games from QF.

It's not like this CL reform is even that good either, more group games and isn't there wildcard options for 2-3 teams to get in ahead of higher placed teams in the league?

Still main thing for now is the domestic game is still alive and kicking.

To be fair it was just a funny quote some guy made when BSkyB tried to take United over in 1998 I like regurgitating. The club should belong to the fans though and is still an institution of Manchester.

How satisfying that it’s all coming crashing down. These clubs all need reigning in regardless of pulling out, they shouldn’t get out of this scot free.

Love this notion that he planned to leave on summer anyway, i mean you set up Super league, all that money from it and just leave before everything starts.
Right. "I-I was leaving anyway you guys! It's nothing to do with this!"
