I'm going to take a wild punt here, and guess it's related to the Super League backlash.Wow. This is amazing. I probably missed the post. Any news on why woodward is going?
Because he has made himself look a right t*t.Wow. This is amazing. I probably missed the post. Any news on why woodward is going?
It's quite incredible.Raphael Honigstein on Twitter: "Earlier, I've put it to a German club official that the Super League 12 must have some really clever ideas to get around all the obstacles, relative to the huge reputational risk they're facing. Answer: "Never underestimate the incompetence of people."" / Twitter
He is so right. And how lovely it is that this is true, for once.
He must have feared the newly ignited wrath of the fans. Good!Right. "I-I was leaving anyway you guys! It's nothing to do with this!"
Fair enough, I agree with thatTo be fair it was just a funny quote some guy made when BSkyB tried to take United over in 1998 I like regurgitating. The club should belong to the fans though and is still an institution of Manchester.
Urgh what bollocksRespect to Chelsea fans. Incredible. I will be rooting for the Chavs in this year's CL.
NiceHe wouldn't stoop so low.
Rumors that he will resign now.Perez right now
In principle, I completely agree.Spot on mate. Government get off your arse and get this 50.1% in, this was nothing but a warning shot, these scumbags will continue to treat fans like "legacy fans" and real football fans do not deserve it.
The parasites probably figured he was starting to taint their image. He was a tremendous earner for them, so after this deal would be the perfect time to let him move on.Love this notion that he planned to leave on summer anyway, i mean you set up Super league, all that money from it and just leave before everything starts.
Yes because the competition laws under the single market comes under eu law with the eu courts as the arbitrator .... it was one of the major reasons the conservatives wouldn't remain in the single market with brexitI know that, but does it apply to courtroom jurisdiction? I can easily imagine that courtroom decisions by member states are not applicable to Switzerland? I'd guess that might be one of the reasons they are still outside of EU (despite close economic and political relationship) Also what if UEFA gets a court in Switzerland to overrule the decision by Madrid court (as obviously a Madrid court was influenced by Perez)? I'd say a lot here depends on the exact nature of bilateral agreements between EU and Switzerland.
Also they are definitely not applicable to UK after brexit, meaning the "bigot six" can still be punished by the FA and Premier League.
It seems to me this Madrid court ruling is just posturing.
The answer is obvious, a loan that we actually pay back unlike the GlazersIn principle, I completely agree.
But. And it is a massive massive but. Assuming United are worth say £1bn, how is it going to be even remotely possible for the supporters to come up with £501millions.
Unfortunately, it is a pipe dream.
He rid of deadwoodwoodSo Ole didn't just get rid of the deadwood in the team, but also outside it.
Baby faced assassin
Gary gained a lot of points in the last days.
I meant their supporters, feck Roman!Arguably they started all this two decades ago
We are not, Glazers and Woodward are.. Feck emSadly we are tainted af and there is no washing from this. Also think this might be missed opportunity for everything to go to hell and burn whole thing down, UEFA/FIFA included and press hard reset button.
I think the family owns it, he's just elected CEOHow can Agnelli resign? Doesn't he own the club? Resign as an operator perhaps.
Oh, that is the cherryFlorentino Perez is being pressurized to resign.— BBC
