That should be it - all these years I've tried to think of Giggs the player and Giggs the person as two different people but this is it. He's a fecking cnut and should be nowhere near this club. His legend status as a player is thoroughly tainted.
While I will not call him names (even if he would deserve) but he clearly needs some kind of help. This doesn't help his character att all, specially when you concider his past.

Such a shame, I'm the same age as Giggsy and loved watching him. He is the reason I have a soft spot for United, I think he was one of the very best players of his generation. Such a shame that the more you hear about him the more apparent it is that he's a complete twat.

Nicky Butt has been in trouble in this regard too. Assault charge against him dropped last year after his wife declined to give evidence. He was arrested & bailed for assaulting a woman in 2004 too, I believe. Hard to see him speaking up about Giggs being arrested.

Can wait for this case to be completed but he's an exceptionally demented human being based on his previous stuff. I can't really recall many people either personally or publicly who went on to shag their fecking brother's wife. Takes a special kind of vile human being to stoop that low.

We will know more next Wednesday once he has his pre-trial hearing at the Magistrates' Court. If they commit the trial to the Crown Court, then we know that they think their sentencing powers (max 12 months) would be inadequate if he is found guilty. He could get up to five years in the Crown Court.
Well, maybe it’s better to give the guy some help. He clearly have troubles. Famous or not, he deserves help.
