This guy always seems to bring this energy of anytime a manager is sacked its the wrong thing to do.

He was certainly bloody annoying tonight. Seemingly annoyed Everton weren't going down the wings..and seemed really pleased at the equaliser.

One thing that he keeps saying which is completely stupid is whenever a player lies down behind the wall to stop a low freekick he makes some remark complaining that the player is facing away from the ball.

What benefit is a player lying down getting by facing the ball? First, there's no where to put his arms. Second, he risks taking the ball to the face/stomach/bollocks. Third, he's going to turn around as soon as the ball goes past him anyway.

Love that he keeps talking about how bad a partnership Maguire and Lindelof is. He's all but said and we all know he actually means he doesn't rate Lindelof at all.

Gary Neville, face of Sky Sports, who were trying to charge us £15 for Fulham vs West Brom a few month ago.

Should walk from Sky as they've been involved in negotiations if reports are to be believed. The same Sky that tried to bring about PPV games.

This is why I struggle to get behind his hyperbolic nonsense at times as he’s just playing to the crowd.

It’s all well & good him yelling from the rooftops on this one but there’s many other directly SKY related hills he’s chosen not to die on.

Don't forget he is part of Salford City who obviously have a vested interest in the PL remaining intact.

I agree with everything he has said on this but you have to wonder if he would have been so vociferous otherwise.

Despite all the contrarian bollocks being spewed above - fair play to Neville for standing up for the game, and against this coup being orchestrated by out of touch billionaires. You can be anti-Sky and think that he should have spoken out sooner but it would be fairly fecking ridiculous to expect that of him. The change to a Super League is obviously a far bigger, more seismic shift than Sky charging a few quid for games. He did well to speak so cogently.

Well said. Fully agree with Gary. Sir Alex is also opposed to this, and his opinion is worth something.

I agree about the Sky comments, they’re a shit company and the PPV was an absolute joke, but I don’t blame Neville for not taking a stand against them. I wouldn’t blame someone like Rashford for example if he went along with the super league. They’re just cogs in a machine.

I agree with what he said regarding the super league, and while he does sometimes say something a little off or stupid, I like that he is willing to give his honest thoughts and it’s obviously something personal to him.

His response to Klopp's comments were good. No idea why Jurgen tried to create division. Everyone needs to be united against the SL.

He just admitted to being complicit for that exact reason.

It's easy to criticise these guys when they are not paying our wages.
He also made a valid point that sometimes you just accept it after a while as the team goes on and they play the football. We are all of guilty of this.

Yeah, just feck off Gary, would you, wonder if you have not forgotten about one certain guy that made you a champion multiple times even if you were quite an average player
