Was he telling Paul that he’s taking the piss?
Pogba tried rainbow flick before, after that within seconds he was kicked. Linesman watched it but didn't even flag it as foul. Moss called the foul and then asked Pogba to stop taking the piss.

These refs are hilariously bad.

That's an actual disgrace. So players aren't allowed to use tricks now? Its not for John Moss to decide what Paul Pogba is allowed to do with a football. Seriously the man is a clown.

That's what Pogba said isn't it. "What do you mean by taking piss, I'm playing football".

This has been an attitude in England for a long time.

Remember the uproar from the game we where comfortably beating Arsenal and Nani was doing keepie upies while running.

The media and Wenger moaned for ages about how disrespectful it was.

Was nonsense then and is nonsense now.

He’s easily our best player and we lack a lot when he’s not playing. Hopefully winning the Europa and pushing City til the end will be enough for him to agree an extension for a year or 2 without crazy wage demands. Also helps we’ve not had any objections to his documentary, although I’m not keen on that idea myself. To replace him would be difficult but if he’s not gonna extend in the summer we have to move him on

Hes not going on about his skills. Pogba screamed and rolled on the floor. Moss gave him the foul but didn't need to hear the ott yelp. Which is fair play imo
I didn't see Pogba taking the piss anywhere there myself.

He’s talking about the piece of skill Pogba tried in the corner, and explains the lack of yellow card....like the ref felt he deserved to be kicked for it.

The super league announcement is great timing for his new contract or more likely transfer.

He was trying the rainbow flick seconds earlier. :D
Yeah, but I don't think that warranted the response from Moss. Players trying to be creative should be celebrated, not criticised, imo.

The only other option was to play McTominay there and he can't handle that position.

Pogba has actually demonstrated that he can ochestrate from the back on several occasions. McTominay always needs Fred or someone else next to him in a deeper role.

Had Fred stayed on the pitch (or if Matic was on instead of McTominay) Pogba would've been deployed in an advanced role
Great name

I think this is really underrated in our season. People always talk about Pool missing VVD and City missing KDB but even our own fans don't acknowledge that we missed Pogba for so long. If anything it affects us more than the others do our rivals. Class player.
Hard to say something like that with real certainty, but what I am at least confident of is that we would have beaten Everton if he had stayed on in the game he got injured. We were two up and he was controlling that game. As for the rest of the games, who really knows, but I think we’d at least be two points better off.

I know he's not eating at the moment but we missed his influence today as he's been really good lately.
He played 90 minutes against Burnley last week... fasting is not the reason he didn't play today. Ole probably thought this game was perfect from James and McFred based on the Leeds game at Old Trafford, but actually this was a very different game. It was a mistake to drop him when he's been in excellent form for a while

I just said this in Ole's thread, but how he set us up suggested he's not watched how they've been playing recently, he was looking for a counter that wasn't on, we needed more guile but kept our craftsmen on the bench.

That game was in the late afternoon. This one was much earlier which would have meant playing 90 minutes and then waiting 6 -7 hours to rehydrate. No professional club is going to put one of their players through that.

Lots of clubs do, Liverpool did it on Saturday.

Time of day has no real baring - if anything its easier to play earlier rather then later as its closer to when you last ate.

Read my post. It's not about getting through the game. It's about recovery thereafter.
Thats what I'm saying, the recovery after the game isn't the hard part, the hard part is the game itself.

But these players are used to fasting and playing at whatever hour, however long into their fast, so it is a complete non-issue.

It can't be a complete non issue. It's obviously not ideal. I doubt the sports science guys believe it to be ideal prep for a game or recovery.

Having said that I think he was rested for Rome. A much bigger game.

I mean non-issue in relation to the time you're playing during the fast. Obviously fasting whatever isn't ideal for any professional sports person!

Still no signs of a new contract. The uncertainty over our summer window gets greater the longer this drags on doesn't it?

I think he will run down his contract and leave on a free next year.

I don't know which club can afford him at the moment and the wages he will be asking for will be the same as now or even higher.

We'll sell him after the Euros. United will use the tournament as a shop window.

The likes of Real and PSG always love a shiny new player who's caught the eye in an international competition.

Nothing will happen until the season ends. And also, what is uncertain to you may not be uncertain to the club. In fact, it is highly likely that you and those at our club have a different level of information as to Pogba’s future.

Largely depends on the Europa triumph.

If there is Europa triumph for utd, chances are United will be delighted to offer him a new contract.

If lost, talks of a transfer out for Pogba will be imminent.

Watching him on the left hand side makes me feel that we may target Grealish if Pogba ever leaves.

It will be resolved in the summer - one way or another. Can see him going to PSG now - can’t see who else is going to pay those wages that Mino will be looking for.

A big game for him tonight. Semi final, probably playing centre mid, he's the biggest name on the pitch. Time to really be the man.

True it does depend if we win the Europa league and I hope we do.

Like you said if not then he will want to leave. I also think it also comes down to our transfer activity in the summer ( I doubt we will have one a good one).

He will want to see who we bring in to start a title challenge that will might play a factor in him signing a new contract or not.

If he was fit all season, we’d be right up there with City. Such a top player, man.
