PSG should have scored two when they had the chance. City came out dominant, PSG too passive. Still City couldnt create a lot. Once that first goal went in, PSG lost it.

Is there any clearer sign our club needs to stop with the excuses and wake up than the recent achievements of our rivals these past few years

Back the manager to the hilt FFS. Give it a go.

Looking like a Chelsea-City final at this stage.

That would be a good day to take a holiday in the Outer Hebrides.

City gonna ball hog next leg and psg gonna struggle big time

I can't see city losing this. Even if psg get an early goal city won't panic and will just pass pass pass and leave no space for the counter

Football is about the little details. A bit of luck here, a bit of composure at the right time there and United could easily have found themselves on the brink of the CL final.

The attitude of the PSG players in the second half was abysmal. Children.
Tactically frozen, Pep changed things up at half time and the PSG players looked like lost lambs. The leadership and game management from the PSG sideline went AWOL 2nd half.

It can be but it's also about having the ambition to get there which is where we fall apart imo.

Yeah but it's been a decade sinds Man Utd even reached a semi final. Post-2011, it has been a decade of irrelevance, really. I think 2 QF's at most.

Two crumbs of comfort I’m really clinging to like a winnit holding on for dear life: Liverpool nowhere near the final and a hunch that Pep fecks off should City win the thing.

If the wall and keeper do their job PSG weather that storm.

City are still creating very little. PSG will score next week but they could also bottle it again so it's in their hands I think.

FFS El Plastico in the final. Pass me the sick bag.

A team that should be mid table and a team that should be yo-yo ing into the Championship

Both here because of financial cheating on an unprecedented scale, also irreparably fecking up all of football in the process

Football is truly dead
Stop crying

Well on course for a Premier league Champions league final as I was expecting before the quarter final stage. Bayern was really the only team that might have stopped that but had the misfortune to be missing their main attackers v PSG
This. If Lewandowski had played I have no doubt he would have converted some of the chances that were wasted.

Yeah I appreciate that, and you certainly know your own team better than me but I think current United are absolutely at a similar level or better than a lot of the teams in this season's knockout stages.

Give United any of the semifinalists run to the semifinals, there's a good chance you could make the same deep run we have.

Let's see how the Manchester OIlers handle being big favourites next week, before we crown them finalists.

PSG have enough about them to score a few. They were bang average in the second half, but agree with others they had it under control before that flukey equaliser dropped in. PSG lost the plot after that. Pretty weak mentally but next week they can go for it with less pressure.

City can afford a 1-0 loss next week and still go through. Better to focus on which of Chelsea or Real Madrid could beat City in the final.
