Hazard Pogba swap is the best thing he can come up with

Let's be honest here, Madrid can't afford him.
Or just don't particularly want him. They have prioritised other players over Pogba every summer - the same looks to be true this year, with a big push for Haaland/Mbappe.

Look at this quote from Railo: "With Pogba, the important thing now is to know what United wants, what project they propose to Pogba."

Then listen what Pogba said to bbc:

https://www.bbc.com/sport/av/football/56947819

"We are getting closer and closer, you know. We see that we were struggling a little bit, we know that, but we don't have to look back we have to look forward and what's forward now is to get closer to City.

"Before they were way ahead of us, now we've shown we can compete and we've shown that we're here and we have a team to go and win the title. It's just a few details but we can do it, for sure. Liverpool did it, City did it and now we're there. We have to show we can make it, that's the next goal."

"Oh shit, lots of clubs are broke and I have been talking shit for months"
This. I mean what a load of complete boll@x he’s talking.

If anybody needed an example of how this clown speaks for himself and isn’t Pogba’s mouthpiece just look at that suggested swap deal for Hazard.

The guy just talks sh*t off the cuff whenever asked a question. Some of the things he says belong here on the caf, are we sure he’s not one of us?

We must offer him a contract this summer and if he doesn't wanna sign, then I wouldn't mind a swap deal for Varane.

Still, compared to what Raiola used to say, this is a complete 180.

"With Pogba, the important thing now is to know what United wants, what project they propose to Pogba".

"project" of course, the agent word for "wages".

One more season at United, try to have a go at it, then leave on a free to a massive contract at Madrid, Juve, PSG, Barca
We can't allow that to happen again. He either signs, or we swap with another player from Real/Juve this summer.

How would people feel about a swap for CR7?

There's no guarantee for titles or champs league.
If he wants guaranteed titles, he'll have to go to Munich or PSG.

Hazard-Pogba swap deal. My God. Raiola doesn't half chat complete nonsense.

The problem is that Pogba can easily tell him to shut up. It's why he attracts some of the vitriol(which can be OTT) from our fans.

Would be a smart move from Pogba. The club has shown nothing to suggest we can finally make that final push. Quite the opposite looking at our transfer window after we came second under Mourinho. But I think the stance for us is that Pogba has to commit and extend contract or we sell this season

Ronaldo´s next contract will probably be his last one, and he´d probably want a 3 years deal. And even if he agrees on, let´s say 350-400m a month, would we want to have a 39 years old on that wages in 3 years time? I´m not convinced that´s the right thing to do.

Pogba, like all top players, is looking for a statement of ambition from United, along with even more wages, of course.

If we promise some key signings towards closing the gap to City/Liverpool even further, I think he'll sign a new contract.

Ole has to be credited for handling this well while producing results on the pitch with Pogba.

Pogba is equally a part of the current Utd team's failings as he is of its successes. He's a monster of a player, but he has also often been a weak link. That's why I don't get this kind of subservient attitude. You owe him nothing, if anything he's been disappointing, overall, given his abilities and his wages.
He wants that 'final push'? Well good, it's up to him to show up consistently, too.

He went from saying there is no chance Pogba stays to pretty much saying it's possible now.
I think Paul wants to stay, I think Raiola is now trying to get him the best terms and ensure that we are also going to be continuing to invest in the squad and pushing to be an elite club again rather than a top 4 club.

Exactly. While Raiola/Pogba would love a free transfer, there is no way we don't sell this summer if he doesn't extend. Bar Herrera, we always look to protect asset value early, even when the 'asset' is Phil Jones.

That Pogba guarantees to play with the commitment he has shown recently and not go back to the half arsed I dont care performances he’s put in for the majority of his time here. That is the make or break deal thank you.

Cavani now looking to sign for another year is pulling in the right direction; but still, Pogba always has the possibility of running his contract down. He´ll get the chance to win something with United, but at the same time fulfill the dream of playing for RM and Zidane. A worry, that is.

Still, we´d need a buyer. If RM can have him for free next season, why would they bother paying 50-60m now. United are nowhere in control of the situation, as we cannot just sell Pogba to whoever wants him, for what ever price they offer.

If they want a free transfer, how are you going to stop them? You can't sell him against his will..

He’s the most hated football agent of all time, isn’t he? Multiple managers, teams and fans of different teams hate him.

We need to sort this out asap. Everyone has to be on the same page for next season to push for big titles. If he goes thats how it is, but we have to replace his creative qualities.

It won't be against his will if it's to Real, Juve or PSG on the cheap or for swaps. No club wants to handle the massive signing on fees and wages which free transfers involve, other than the player himself. Swap deals will also help balance books ala Arthur/Pjanic.

Also, while Ole is diplomatic and professional, he will make it clear that Pogba wouldn't be receiving the same promises in terms of game time for a player about to leave in a year. If he's in good form, great, otherwise he's benched and becomes a sub while other players (VDB) integrate. Not the first time Ole would be benching Pogba.

It must be embarrassing for Raiola to keep selling Pogba to Madrid for three years and have a sum total of zero offers coming in.

Shit agent.

While it has remained true in general, running down your contract is now a riskier affair than it used to be with the pandemic going on. Medically if they are injured or contract Covid towards the end of their contracts, it may be difficult for them to leverage a good deal. Clubs are in losses as well so the wage/bonus boost associated with free transfers are also far less lucrative than they would have been two years ago. Given the wage crises in Spain, there are going to be fewer bidding wars in general.

Many top players are free agents this summer - Messi, Donnarumma, Alaba, Aguero, Ramos - I'd be surprised if we see a repeat of Ramsey-esque wages for any of them bar Messi either this year, or even the next. Not having the stability of a lucrative contract going into the prime years of your career is a risky call.

I feel like if he won’t sign a contract we need to sell him this summer. Losing him on a free again will be sickening.

Pogba is 28, this summer could be last one for him to make last big transfer of his career. If he leaves reckon we'd just go for Grealish which imo wouldn't be a bad outcome at all. But dont think Paul is leaving any time soon, while it looked clear he would last year.

Fun fact: Lego was invented with the sole purpose for the likes of Mino Raiola to tread on.

Not many people know that.
