Madrid cant afford him now. Fat boy better find a new club to hawk him to because nobody is falling for the Madrid line anymore.

We should offer Pogba a deal. 100k a week more if he finds a new agent.

I don’t think there’s much wrong with those comments. I know people will continue to dismiss how Pogba has played for the last few years, but the team has been wildly inconsistent and there’s been so many personnel changes.

I’ve never understood the want for him to “take the game by the scruff of the neck” and drag us from average to champions. How often does a single midfielder actually do that in an average team? It’s going to be his last big contract, so I’m not surprised he is considering where he wants to spend the prime of his career. I hope we get it done.

I like how he phrases the Pogba-Hazard swap idea as being something directed by Madrid. As if we'd just keep quiet and accept whatever the mighty Real wanted to do.

Maybe. I just find it annoying. We play Liverpool tomorrow. We played some great stuff 2nd half of last game because several players were on top form. Raiola opens his mouth and everything's about Pogba again. It's tiresome.
It´s a two hours interview, and the talks about Pogba was just a very small part of it. More than anything, I think it´s a cultural thing, and they obviously speak more freely about things related to transfers at the continent, just listen to Perez, or Walzke at Dortmund.

I don’t doubt it at all. 2,3,4 years are a long time in football and many stranger things and transfers have happened. Who thought when Fabregas was at Arsenal that he would end up at Chelsea for example?
More importantly anything transfer related is possible with a guy who is close to leaving us on a free for the 2nd time.
Pogba is a United product. The only options would be Liverpool or City and not in a million years will he play for them.

Realised there is no market and is starting the back tracking. If Pogba signs a new deal he probably gets a fat pay off anyway and in 6 months he'll be back talking his usual shite.
Pogba´s usual shite... give it break for God´s sake.

I don’t think we have to worry about him leaving this summer everyone is skint no way anyone makes a substantial big for him.
I’m more worried about us caving into stupid wage demands to stop him leaving on a free.

I have no doubts Raiola pretty much calls every top club regarding his players. Just read what he´s saying about Haaland in the AS interview:

"No, because I don't care if you (read: Haaland) tell me now (which club he wants to play for). He has to tell me when all things are clear in my head and I can make a menu and put it on his plate: we have that, this and this…"

There are miles between this, and suggesting Pogba was actually considering signing for City.

I can see Pogba leaving on a free in a year, because if we give him 350,000 a week on a 5 year deal, then Bruno and Rashford will demand that instantly.

Getting Raiola out of the club should be our priority with this one.

We have the power to keep him for 1 more season, unless a big bid comes in, so that to me seems like most logical move. Would love to replace him with Grealish if a decent bid came in from Madrid for Pogba.

That´s a pretty weak argument. How much is De Gea paid?

Pogba should make a deal with Cavani. Pogba signs a one year deal for 2022/2023 and Cavani agrees to stay one more year. This way all parties benefit and gives each player a decent chance at CL and PL titles. In summer of 2022 Pogba gets bought by RM or PSG.

If this is the best Raiola can do to gain a bit of leverage with contract negotiations then there's a good chance he's staying. Very positive news
The tw@t knows this probably is his last chance of another big bung if the transfer goes through. He would do anything to upset the apple kart again at OT. Pogba looks like he's enjoying his football again and definitely got his mojo back. Fingers crossed Pogba stays. We need him more than ever now.

We don't have a say here, i am afraid. Unless we put a really low price tag on him (50 mil max).

Imo, he is our best player (yes, yes, i know who is Bruno etc...) and we need to keep him at ALL cost. If we buy two or three class players this summer and show intent for title challenge, he will stay. If we go with Longstaff, James and Mings type of signings.....he is off.
We will sell him

Full interview with Riola was fascinating especially his take that the ESL should co exist with the CL and teams should still participate in their domestic leagues. Players should be listed for one european tournament and not be able to play in the other. Interesting idea that would make the rich, richer and completely destroy the football pyramid.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time

If all he/Pogba is interested in is a 'fat pay off' he'll just stay here for another 12 months and then leave on a free. That will be the biggest possible pay off into their pockets. If Pogba signs a new contract it'll be because he thinks we'll be successful going forward, the same as he's always wanted.

Or just don't particularly want him. They have prioritised other players over Pogba every summer - the same looks to be true this year, with a big push for Haaland/Mbappe.
Yeah I meant more than they won't spend that much on a player of his age and profile especially when they have eyes set on the likes of Mbappe. And I can't see him running down his contract and risking being sat on the bench for a while season either. He will renew. Madrid will not offer what we'd want.

Someone a few posts back posted something like, 'If we sign Pogba on 350k/w, Bruno will immediately want that, too'.

As posted numerous times, here's how the conversation would go between Matt Judge and Bruno if the club offered the latter such a wage.

Judge: Bruno, how about 350k/w.
Bruno: Are you kidding?
Judge: (beams proudly) Nope! It's real. I knew you'd love it. Let's get you signed up and-
Bruno: Are you stupid?
Judge: (grin fades) Uh-
Bruno: That's fifteen million a year the club could be spending on something else.
Judge: Um-
Bruno: Get the feck out.
Judge: This is my office but, uh-

That is not a joke. It's literally how someone of the particular elite-level personality type mentioned several times will react to an offer like that.

He'd not play then.
Yes, and after that he still leaves in the worst possible way. Point being if he has decided he is going to Real he will and we can't stop it. We can only try to find a way to make it work better than wasting an asset for a year. Like agreeing he can leave to real next year for X reduced fee, if he signs for an extra season now. A bit like how we managed Ronaldo.

So much for "I can say its over for Pogba at United". Just take what he says as a joke. Its actually funny to see him change his tone now. HAH! ITS NOT UP TO YOU TO DECIDE IS IT? ITS UP TO UNITED. Just a few months ago he said it was over but now apparently not. Feck off you Spaghetti guzzler.

so much hate aimed at the agent, and so much of it personal.
it has to be said i doubt any of us if we were professional footballers would mind having him in our corner.
And here come the Riaola defenders. Right on cue

We have to resign Pogba. Ive wanted him out because of all the clownery but Im changing my mind based on his current form AGAIN! We cant let go of creativity especially with no idea of who we might bring in this summer.

Pogba and Bruno will form the creative engine of this football team for the next few years. They compliment each other perfectly. One has the class on the ball and the other the end product.

You know, it never hurts to try to have a somehow balanced view on things. There are many reasons to be critical of him, but when players keep picking him as their agent, you should not be blind to the possibility that he´s also doing a good job for them. If you chose blind hate instead, well, up to you.

There is a reason he has many high profile clients. He does his job even though he creates uncessary polemy.
The reason is he takes them in as teenagers and brainwashes their families. He is a vulture and I'm certain he is behind many corrupt practices and financial schemes behind the scenes. Absolute parasite to football, brings nothing to the game.

Everything is food-related with Raiola. His arteries must look like the M25 on bank holiday Monday.

Haha he must have been so mad the Super League went tits up, it was going to fund the next 5 megatransfers involving his clients.

And also allow him to double or triple his agent fee demands. Vermin.

That's just random accusations because you don't like him (neither do I btw). He doesn't have to bring anything to game apart from get the best contract for his clients.
