Welcome to Manchester reception committee
Our last League away of the season and barring a sudden collapse by Arsenal we're in fourth place and playing for pride now. Bristol City on the other hand are playing to avoid relegation. We beat them 6-1 just before Christmas, but our form has been erratic since then, so I doubt they'll just roll over for us.

The match is live on FA Player - free to view (in most countries) but you need to register.

Incidentally Birmingham, who are also in danger of relegation have been charged by the FA for playing an ineligible player. Ruesha Littlejohn played against Reading last weekend. Birmingham thought she was ok, because she sat out their FACup match the week before - the FA says it was a League suspension. If they lose it won't be the first harsh FA ruling against them this season - and a points deduction for Birmingham could be another ray of hope for Bristol.

Looks like the line up is Earps; Batlle, A Tuner, M Turner, Smith; Zelem, Staniforth; Sigsworth, Toone, Hanson; Press.

Don't know who is available on the bench though.

I'm starting to worry that this may mean that Jackie Groenen is leaving. Maybe that's just paranoia on my part though.
I thought she was injured? Maybe I'm wrong, it's hard to keep track of all our injuries this season.

Arsenal scored a penalty to beat Everton 2-1 with the last kick of the game. So that ends the race for third.

As for United, the passing has been so poor particularly from Staniforth. Bristol City have had good chances to score. Need to improve second half.

Turns out Groenen's not injured. She comes on for Toone early in the second half.

Press has been our most dangerous player this half, and she finds Ross from the left to bundle the ball in. 1-0

Full Time. Not a great game to be honest, but at least we won. One more league game against Everton and then we can focus on the FA Cup the following Sunday against promoted side Leicester.

Bristol City had the better chances but we scored and they didn't. Not much quality from us, most of the players struggled to get the ball under control. Christen had a nice run in the 2nd half and created our goal.

We really didn't look like a professional team that trains together during the week. Even some of our usually decent players like Ona Batlle were rubbish.

Our form since Christmas has been alarming. Clearly injuries have had a huge impact but I'd still have hoped for far more from the likes of Ella Toone and Katie Zelem.
