On a serious note, he's got more balls than Pep, especially if he actually wins something.

Currently in 7th and can't finish any higher so I assume they'll be Italy's first representative into the europa conference league?

They have already announced their coach will leave at the end of the season. So it doesn't make any difference.

Also Jose will be manager from next season.
Well that will teach me for posting without any facts !!!

Do you really think he would be there if his stock wasnt as low as it is now?

No, he is way past it. When Pep is available, all top clubs want him. When Jose is available, none of the top clubs want him. Nothing to do with balls or wanting a challenge.

Sort of level of team his personality could still work well with.

And, yes, poor Mkhi. Never would have sold him.
Yeah, this actually could be a good fit. Personally, I was surprised he didn't return to Italy after his second Chelsea stint as Serie A has fallen, is still happy enough with defensive football and the finances there mean he does not have perform at such a high level. Furthermore, outside of Juve (and now Inter) it is a league where top 4 is possible for him.

He will need to do a bit of work on the squad but I think this makes the most sense for him.

Roma fans were up in arms at the idea of Ole not giving them enough attention.

Perhaps Roma should have been paying more attention to us and steered clear of making the same mistakes we've made.

By being sacked repeatedly and having to settle for lesser clubs?
I doubt he would get sacked if he where managing City, or Bayern. Not defending him but let's not act as if the spurs job was easy, b especially in the state Poch left it.

Yes, and a million yes. Finally. ********ing over with the idiotic "modern football" "attacking football" nonsense we had to deal with for years.
I hope we park the bus and piss every ********ing opponent's nerves. Tired of watching 7 - 1 losses, tired of not knowing you need to close the shop in big games.
YES!
This kind of feels like a "night move" to me - quite unexpected! I am happy to finally get a coach with his credentials. If anyone can fix our mentality it is Jose. Daje Roma!
At least he has Plan A,B,C,D... And most of our current roster will fit in any of his formations
..
Someone like mourinho will want good players.
********ing huge.
Welcome to Roma Lindelof !!
..
What the club needs.
The Friedkins are in business. I only hope this means will we have a great Mercato this summer.

He will not be managing any of these two in the foreseeable future due to his own repeated failings, so it is somewhat of a moot point.

He got sacked at Chelsea and United. Was told to pack his belongings at Madrid too. If you weren't joking, your take is surprising.

Yea but there is a reason City or Bayern did not show any interest in him. The only club that hired him from a position of power is probably Inter and Chelsea. The rest had their backs against the wall and hoped he would save them which he managed to do to some degree. It tells you something though that none of the established leading clubs over the past 10 years looked to appoint him.

Perfect job for him. No obvious dominant force in Italy at the moment and roma a big club with potential

Knew he'd be back in Italy. Wouldn't be surprised if he does well there ....though I said that about him at Spurs

Mkhitaryan

I know the 6-2 result was pretty hilarious but Roma have had massive injury issues and were down 3 players before the first half even ended and also had to rush Smalling back to fitness. I wonder how strong their first 11 is when everyone is fit?

How the feck is this guy getting any decent job. His projects have consistently failed in the same way. Poor Roma. I think he is living off what he did with Inter back when I was still young.
Lucky bastard.

Perfect move. I have said it before, he should go back to Serie A and take Roma or Lazio or Napoli. His style and man management will suit Serie A and Roma would be ideal for him. There are some good players in there and good experience players.
