Forster will play both week 35 games. Which is sort of brilliant to be told. But sod's law means i have 2 double keepers week 35, and neither plays week 36!
This would be incredible. I’ll probably just ship Mendy out in 36 anyway, as their fixtures are tough.

For those getting rid of Lingard, the last three fixtures are great and I can’t see him not starting any of them either. I don’t think anyone realistically expected his run to carry on till the end of the season, but I don’t think there’s many better options out there at 6.5 million.

What GK on a WC? currently have Martinez and Areola
Personally I think now is the time to get rid of Martinez. Villa have a very difficult run of fixtures till the end of the season.

Guaita at palace is who I'm considering. They have a DGW against Sheffield and Southampton. Their fixtures after that are a bit more difficult but if you get another fairly cheap GK for the final 3 game weeks then that will be grand.

Then for the second gk I would maybe go with Meslier from Leeds. As they have Burnley/Southampton/WBA for their final 3 games.

So, worth a punt on Auba for the DGW, or stick with KDB? Alternatively, Mane?

Auba is scheduled to play twice and who knows if KDB will play at all?

Also, I still have my bench boost left, I'm thinking to play it, although with a Liverpool and United DGW potentially coming up, I could save it for that.

Help me, please :nervous::(

Jota without a doubt. Liverpool have decent fixtures coming up as well as a DGW too.

West ham also have decent fixtures but no DGW. And Gundogen is never gonna be guaranteed minutes like the other players especially if they reach CL final.
No guarantees but a little hope is all I need. I dont want to buy a 4.5 keeper for one week only (and most likely only get 2+2 points anyways).

Jota if you can handle the fact that he'll be benched a few times. Otherwise, JLingz.
I am leaning towards Jota but my only concern is that I already have Salah and don't have any West Ham players so wondering if it would be better to have variety by going for Lingard or go with 2 Liverpool players.

The problem is, is to get Watkins in It'd be a -4. So if Holding gets say 6+2, which neither are certain, Watkins needs 12, or scoring in both games to even match it.
The -4 might well be counter balanced by rivals also taking -4.

It depends if we think Watkins can get that high a haul to need to block him? United is one of his games.
Probably not with the fixtures. *Proceeds to score a hatrick vs us.

Questions therefore being do you want Watkins for the rest of the season (making the hit not so bad), and how much do you care about covering that rival vs overall rank and other leagues.

Good to hear about Forster, gives me a double keeper I wasn't expecting!

So Crellin has downgraded his 95% sure about both Liverpool and United having doubles in week 35, to 60%.

However, surely they can't be considering playing United v Liverpool on a Monday night.
Let everyone get all boozed up, with the cover of darkness for more fun and games?!

But I think to do the Friday/Monday 40% likely changes, they'll have to mess with fixtures of more teams. So surely makes more sense just to move the Pool v Brom game like originally mooted.

Can’t believe I just realised I only had 19 points. Having Dias, 2 Liverpool players and 2 United players hurts so much.

So my transfers are booked in (barring injuries). Going to do Son and Vydra out for Zaha and DCL.

My question is, is it worth taking a hit to replace Veltman for Ward?

I'm playing my BB this week so this is the only week I'll need either one of these two...

Hmmm. Veltman has a fairly decent shot of a cleanie against Wolves tbf and more attacking threat. I probably wouldn't do it.

Hopefully this means news is imminent.

Also, are we all overlooking the possibility that protests effect the match going ahead again? Imagine being stung twice. Ouch.

I'll be starting my own protest. I'll be protesting for my lost points at the FPL towers

Except it wouldn't as United play Fulham on May 19th! Unless they want to mess loads of teams about.

All they need to do is move West Brom v Liverpool from 16th May to 12/13th May, then United are already free on the 16th, so you slot Pool v United in there.

The added benefit of the 16th is it's a weekend, so you get to get your security sorted in the light, rather than have to deal with boozed up hooded up hoodlums by night.

Doesn't a fixture on 18/19 May imply that our fans would be in the stadium for the derby?

Makes it even less likely.

Could you imagine the carnage of a midweek game, with fans in?! Not sure if the fans in there are going to cause havoc at any moment!

Someone mentions under that about punishing us for the postponed game by not allowing fans in the stadium. This is all just speculation at the moment. Reckon we'll find out soon enough.

Any help with what can be possible transfers with this lot? I'm pretty lost with this whole fixture shite.

Martinez, Areola
TAA, Shaw, Castagne, Coady, Holding
Salah, Jota, Lingard, Son, Raphinha
Nacho, Kane, Watkins

2m in the bank.

Squad looks fine to me. Just wait for news. As it stands you've got 6 doublers and you'll be hoping Liverpool's game with West Brom is moved into 35 which will give you 9 plus Kane and Son which is perfect really with a bench of Areola, Lingard, Raphinha, Coady.

Might want to take Son out for a United attacker maybe. Zaha in for Raph if he's not injured? Dunno. These games are gonna come thick and fast so there could be a lot of rotation for some of the teams playing doubles anyway.

If you're holding a lead, do we think holding both Kane & Son is the safest?
Or instead, using Son's value to both bring in a doubler, and upgrade someone else to one?

I have the same dilemma. I have a slender lead of 5 points... was thinking of bringing in rashford or zaha for son. I’m definitely keeping Kane though.

Mendy
Castagne digne holding
Fernandes lingard jota salah son
Nacho kane

tempted to take a -4 and bring in dcl for vydra and Rashford/zaha for son. In leading by 5 points only in my league... advice? Also, who to captain?
