Stability or chaos - I’m not sure?

I’m not sure what I prefer?

Ole and his players are in my opinion heading to something really good. The atmosphere around the squad is better then ever and we seems to be only one or two quality players away from a serious title challenge. The key for this to continue is stability and the we give Ole and his coaching team positive support and time to finish the project that he have started.

On the other hand we as supporters has a golden opportunity to put pressure on the owners to sell, or at least improve the relationship between supporters and the people in charge. The Glazers has a uphill battle if they want to continue as owners but at the same time what is the alternative? The real problem is the lack of regulation and rules that prevent that owners can use PL clubs as their own milk cows. This unequal position between lifelong loyal supporters and greedy owners needs to be addressed in a more democratic way.

So here I’m, in between a wish of stability but at the same time morally behind all of you who protest. I honestly don’t know what’s best. I love my club and I want to see my team play good football. At the same time I understand that there must be changes. I’m not a young guy any longer. Forcing the owners out with protests and boycott takes time. This isn’t a easy choice to make.

I am opposed to anything ruining for the players and the manager....lets be honest, us ending second in a season like this would be a remarkable achievment.

Just how far could Ole take the team ? I feel like for the club to be challenging for Premier League and Champions League again the current owners need to get out.

Ole will keep improving the team, sure, but I just feel like we will never get to City or Liverpool's current technical level with the Glazers as owners.

So maybe both stability and chaos are needed. It's unfortunate that the chaos happens right now, but maybe the fans are just tired of seeing the club struggle so much post Fergie.

For me, it comes down to this.

What does forcing them out actually look like. For me, what the fans have already done and a continued push in terms of letters to government and Premier League officials would be enough to at least control how they handle the club financially. The extra attention put on them may be enough to force their hand to either float their shares or seek a willing consortium. As of right now, I don't believe they have truly wanted to sell the club. The fans need to make sure that even if they do stay, the premier league and government officials put policies in place that restrict how much dividends they recieve or how much money can be used by a club for debt repayments. The revenues the club already makes are enough to sustain us as the massive global brand that we are, we just need to know that the club will be run in the best interest of the club rather than an external party. Restricting their current and future abilities will do that, and potentially force a withdrawal.
