The only sensible thing is play a completely different XI for the Leciester game.

Damn Leicester and Liverpool 48 hours apart will be no joke. That whole run looks horrific for fatigue. Concerning with (hopefully) a final on the horizon. Need second place wrapped up ASAP.
Make sure we beat Leicester and hope Liverpool are out of touch anyway.

There was a reddit thread a few days ago laying out ours and Liverpool's schedules and pointing out that someone was going to have to play on one day's rest at least once. Didn't see twice coming.

Not exactly a surprise. Was always going to be more fixture congestion after that.

Prepare for disjointed games with a couple of losses that’ll surely make this place toxic
Eh, worst case scenario we drop to 3rd or 4th, still get CL, still get in the papers. I only care about the EL final at this point.

Absolute joke. Seems premeditated to discourage this from happening again as they could've just moved Liverpool's game against West Brom
Of course there’s some premeditation in this.

It would be foolish to think otherwise.

Pathetic scheduling by the PL.

I suppose protests and passion for your club is only favoured in certain contexts within the Premier League.

Anyways, as mentioned we win the first two games we won’t have much need for the second two barring a huge City collapse.
with the abandoned game and the SL fiasco - no one in the PL is going to do the club any favours.

It is what it is. Cannot complain as it was our fans that got the game called off in the first place.

I'm laughing at people who are writing now that it's pathetic and it must be a joke. And I'm wondering how many of them were glad the game vs. Liverpool was postponed.

Did you really expect anything else?

This is a punishment all of you should have expected when you enjoyed fans invading the pitch at Old Trafford which resulted in the game being postponed.

Could have been worse, by the way, but it's never United or its fans, right?

I don't give a feck if this is some sort of petty punishment, what was done on Sunday will hopefully have longer term benefits, and with that night time kick-off scheduling they are asking for trouble imo. It'll be interesting to see if we get a bit mire rotation out of Ole.

We are not struggling with injuries right now and have quite a few fringe players not getting minutes. I would play a b team against Leicester and then go full strength to smash the dippers.

Sigh. Throw the Leicester game, feck over the dippers in the process.

Hopefully we get second secured soon and can make near wholesale changes when required, so we're ready for the EL final. I wouldn't be surprised if there was more action at our remaining home games, and I'd support that just as I supported the fans on Sunday.

And it was only just a small contingent of our fans after all.

Poor security from the club when dealing with the protest, well matched by poor behaviour from the some of the "fans" participating in the protest. Still some fans think we should mess with other teams schedules?

Let's own up to our own mistakes, make the best of it and finish on a high both in Europa and the Premier League.

this will finally be his rotation litmus test

Same lineup twice never buy him a squad player ever again

May 6th Roma (A)
May 9th Villa (A)
May 11th Leicester (H)
May 13th Liverpool (H)
May 18th Fulham (H)
May 23rd Wolves (A)
May 26th Possible EL final

Main concern looking at that schedule is avoiding injuries to first choice players before the possible final.

Liverpool just play Southampton at home before that scheduled United game

People should always expect petty bullshit from the FA and PL, I mean heaven forbid they actually let the police simply punish the people who smashed stuff and attacked the cop, as opposed to thousands of peaceful protesters standing up for their rights or the players who had feck all to do with anything, nope, don't want the FA and PL to start doing a proper job now, I mean they got what they wanted from the fans when they ESL got canned, now it's back to treating them like shit.

That Villa game looks more important now but even so top 4 is more or less secured, we have a big squad and few injuries. Squad management should see us through comfortably.

When does this Ramada end surely players fasting like Pogba can’t do 4 games in 8 days?

You realise people can have multiple emotions. They can be glad we got the match postponed as a means of elevating the protest and also think that the schedule is a joke. I’m sure most people were aware that this would happen.

I can happily take a shit in my toilet and still complain about the smell.

Just like someone could agree with the protests but realize that we did this to ourselves & are totally to blame for the upcoming schedule.
