Everything to play for still, even though it doesnt look great for RM.

Chelsea gets a 2nd goal its game over though.

Hazard was incredible at his best, injuries have taken their toll on him at Madrid, not sure it has much to do with his peak ability.
He's always been a bitch. Never a killer, never driven. Coasted through on footwork mostly.

He doesn't work enough.

anyone still wanting Real to win because they think they'll stop City can't actually be watching this game can they? what a sorry sad state they look here.

I expected something more direct and daring. It seems that he is wasting Vini. For what he has done, being more concerned with defending, he could have used Valverde.

Nobody seriously thinks this surely. It was evident Chelsea were superior from the first leg also.

Rooting for Chelsea to win a Champions League final is just such an unappealing prospect that I'm still with Real Madrid even though logically I know that you're right that the best chance of City not winning is if they play Chelsea. Madrid are so lacking in dynamism and tempo and, unusually for them, their front line outside of Benzema isn't very scary these days.

Can't help but feel Chelsea will be by far the tougher opponent for City. They have a solid defence, a tough midfield and a quick (but a bit wasteful) attack.

Chelsea need a 2nd. Can see Madrid scoring, Benzema is so dangerous and all it takes is one half chance for him right now.

Real players seem knackered, Ramos and Hazard back from injuries, Chelsea had the luxury to change things in the last games. Can’t see Real getting through.

If it's a Chelsea v City final, will UEFA have a one off plastic CL trophy made to award to the winners?

Neither of these stand a chance against City.
Considering City were outplayed by Chelsea recently, I’d say they have the best chance, especially on a neutral ground.
Havertz is improving, Werner might just have broken his scoring hoodoo. Mount is impressing all the time. Their defence is mean. Plus Tuchel won’t be expansive
It will be closer than you think

Chelsea press so, so well under Tuchel. Just like City (and PSG) last night.

Can you be one of Europe's elites in this era without an effective, well organised team press? Asking for a friend.
The scheme today has been brilliant. Trapping Kroos and Modric as they're having to drop deep to receive since Ramos is being given no time on the ball. Attacking either wide CB since both look completely out of sorts. Madrid's injuries have really hurt them but Tuchel is ruthlessly attacking the weaknesses of their backups.

Seems to be a theme in the last 2 or 3 years, but have we ever had such weak semi finalists?

City - a good team but nowhere near what they used to be.
PSG - cant even win Ligue 1.
Chelsea - scrapping for 4th with West Ham breathing down their neck.
Madrid - a shadow of their former selves.

Nope but will the winners really care? It just has the winners on the trophy nothing else

Real shadow of that 2016-2018 team, which is understandable as most of their key players are older and there's no Ronaldo anymore. Benzema is class though, came close twice already.

Conflicted now. Ultimately I much rather Madrid win the whole thing, but Chelsea are probably more equipped to beat City in the final.
