@Pogue Mahone do you still think this is due to some new manager bounce?
I’m not sure what “this” is but it does seem as though spending an absolute shit load of money on new players, when everyone else is broke, then getting some easy draws has been enough to get Chelsea to a CL final.

I still Tuchel might fall one short in his quest to match the achievements of the mighty Roberto DiMatteo, mind you.

Well deserved victory for Chelsea. Been a while since them looking this good. Super solid defence, great midfield with Jorginho and Kante and then they have this fluid attack with a bit similar style like City. Haverts, Mount and Pulisic all young and very talented players that will only get better too. Haverts specially looks like the real deal, he barely got any weaknesses.

Chelsea constantly go from having bad manager's and/or bad campaigns to winning major trophies in short succession.

Mourinho 2nd stint, wins PL.
Mourinho has bad following season.
Conte comes in and wins PL.
Conte has bad 2nd season.
Lampard has terrible half-season; Tuchel comes in and gets CL Final.

Just feck off with your scabby turnarounds.
You forgot DiMatteo and Avram Grant.

So you absolutely do not rate Tuchel as a manager and coach ? Or think he is slightly better than RDM?

Err I don't want Chelsea creeping up on our CLs. I'll just convince myself that City's win is hollow, not that that matters really.

How’s about I don’t? I seem to care a hell of a lot less about Tuchel and Chelsea than you do. Genuinely couldn’t give two shits how good or bad he is as a manager. His hair is a disgrace though. Cut it off ffs. You’re not fooling anyone.
Got a ways to go before he reaches the final boss of balding denialism:

Yeah, difficult to escape that tribalism.

If we hadn't fecked around in istanbul and avoided the brainfarts against leipzig and psg I'd have fancied us to be in the final. We're no worse than anyone bar bayern and city and i'd fancy us to do one over city over a single game or two. There squad depth means feck all in a knockout tie, its the league where they exploit there advantage.

And Guus Hiddink.... who well, more or less did the same as Tuchel(so far) really. Except luck came Barca's way in that semi, and Barca happened to be one of the greatest teams ever at their near peak, something this Real Madrid team are no way near.

I agree but at the same time, Tuchel has set Chelsea up to be the perfect cup team. When you defend like that, more often than not you'll get really far in the cups.

His hair cut literally creeps me out more than Finding Neverland.
To me the thought process behind keeping it is so alien it's incomprehensible. I genuinely cannot understand how any human being can willingly choose to have that on their head, let alone one worth billions.

Mendy and Kanye were the standout players
Mendy class
Kante amazing
Silva rudiger awesome
Christensen solid
Azpi worked his arse off was great.
Jorginho after getting booked was fantastic
Havertz bar the miss I thought played well. Chilwell did OK.
Werner and Mount ran their socks off
And puli was quality when he came on.

Is there any chance at all the final could be moved to Wembley? Turkey is in lockdown whereas fans could be attending in England.

Tuchel is truly a world class manager. Tactically astute. He transformed them in a week after taking over Lampard. Haven’t seen Chelsea play this well since Conte’s first season.

That would only be an issue if you needed the goals. Madrid can't finish (or create) much either. All they have is Benzema, don't fall for the Vinicius hype as we momentarily made him look good. It's all about Benzema and he'll only get one (chance and goal).

I think at least one of Mount or Pulisic will score. And that should be enough.
And there you have it. Just to put the icing on the cake it was Pulisic to set up Mount.

Both the PL teams were really impressive, on how ease they went through. Notably City and Chelsea put on impressive energy, that PSG and Madrid just couldn't catch up. Interesting that both teams don't play with traditional no. 9.

This Final will be more exciting (for neutral) than Liverpool - Spurs' Final.

Congrats @duffer and enjoy the build up to the final. Best opposition fan on the forum and if Chelsea do win it, i can take comfort in that and also laugh at City too

Fecking depressing watching the likes of Liverpool, City and Chelsea wrecking havoc in the CL while we play some shite side in Europa. I miss winning trophies.

His misses against PSG that cost us from going through to the knockout stage. I’m still livid when I think of them.
Maybe you should also consider how bad the defending was against Istanbul and Leipzig away instead of blaming Martial

Well we have a chance to win the Europa League!

So you won’t be happy or celebrate if we win it then, another European trophy, to add to our collection?

Might as well not bother watching
