It really is worrying.

The loss of one central defender should not affect proceedings as much as it did tonight. We need a partner for Maguire as much as we need Halaand/Sancho/Kane/whoever.

I pray he's fit for the EL final, otherwise, we're in trouble.
It does make it a bit of a chuckle that we say Liverpool only lost 1 defender.
We lost 1 defender for 1 game and shipped 4 and were lucky not to ship 8.

Imagine a season of not just Bailly / Lindelof all season, but the next lot down.

Great 25 mins , but lost it completey the rest of the match. Centre mid is a massive issue, Fred and mctimannay aren’t good enough on the ball. Some of the passing was woeful. We can throw on greenwood but if he doesn’t get the call it doesn’t matter

Goalkeeping errors!! Maybe for the 3rd goal which is originally caused by Fred and then Shaw, nothing Henderson could do about the 3 goals
Apparently it’s fashionable to criticise the GK for letting in any kind of goal these days.
Henderson is definitely still No.1

Liverpool will get top 4 after that. And finish above us in the league again next year.
Guaranteed on the first one, they will drill all 3 opponents by 3 or 4 goals.

Every chance on the second part, unless we really nail the signings.

Where the grass is greener.
Even as a McT fan you can't claim Fred is the one that needs replacing. Fred really does have that horribly bad error in him but his contribution tonight otherwise was a level above McT.
They were both appalling though, thats the main point really. Mctominay has managed to make Fred look somewhat with purpose though as he'll contribute something occasionally, and that's coming from somehow who very rarely has anything positive to say about Fred.

Yes, you can. Fred was shit. At times McTominay wasn't helping the attack but he wasn't also actively undermining everything we tried to do, like Fred was.
Fred was comfortably the better player in the first half. Fred is basically the scapegoat for McT. Neither are good enough but if you're going to me mention Fred being bad you have to put McT right there next to him.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
AWB can stretch a leg like no-one.. can't pass five yards though.

Our defensive line was non existent.

Henderson said "score here" to Salah.

Pogba great at times (not tonight) but so lazy at times also. Their second goal.

Stop passing the fecking ball around our third when they're chasing us down, the defenders can't pass, the midfield doesnt drop to offer themselves... and their CHs are 60 yards away going "phew, glad they're not chucking it up here!"

Disjointed, apathetic, pathetic shite.

(And Taylor has probably booked a United player for 'walking up the tunnel funny'. Awful.)

Roll on the player tweets "sorry, not good tonight, we'll come back. Keep the faith"

A bit of a car crash in the end, an unbelievable amount of individual mistakes and our passing was truly absyml, just don't think we were switched on enough.

The only positive is that in all honesty it won't make a blind bit of difference to our season overall. Dosent make it feel any better.

A timely reminder that our defence is utter crap without Maguire. Needs big investment this summer.

Henderson experiment should now be over, unless, they know DDG is 100% leaving in the summer.

we simply cannot start another season with Fred or Mctominay in midfield.

Liverpool had more to play for. We did not look interested. All we have to do is beat fulham to secure second i think.

We have to though start playing Rashford on the left and Greenwood on the right. Not sure what to do about Pogba because he is poor in the MF too.

Seriously? I would take that protest any day even if it meant Pool winning something. The Glazer's are a cancer on this club.
Some people are just too small-time for change. They'll get on board when we change owners and are finally good again. Can't expect all of them to look beyond their pathetic little world.

I think we're on the same page. That was my point exactly, it seems McT is getting away with being equally as poor, if not worse in the first half.

They were like killer bees out there those Scouse lads, slowed down a bit after we scored our second. They'll be back with VVD next season no doubt.

The mere thought of that prospect practically killed me inside.

I may never get an erection again.

Guess the difference is Liverpool was playing for something that mattered to them whereas we didn't give a shit about the outcome ? It was quite a bizarre game.

The difference was quality players , they have far more of them than we have and that is even with them having a good few out injured.

They have had a poor injury ravaged season but they still posses far more quality than we do , and they showed that tonight.

Gifted City the Title the other day.
Gifted Scousers the 4th spot today. Gifting Villareal the Cup soon?
Hope the team wakes up and stops playing Santa.

I can't think of another United team which gave away so many absolutely horrendous goals in a single season . Our cl campaign ended after we conceded awful goals against Istanbul & Leipzig . Tonight I thought the first goal was pretty bad because we were completely static but my God that third goal is one of the worst I have seen in 20 years of supporting this club . How can professional footballers making 100k a week be so brain-dead man

It's clear something is up with him. He looks unfit and uninterested. Unhappy actually. When he does get the ball he tries the same old playground tricks and I get the feeling he knows they're not going to work but he can't be arsed doing the hard work of looking up, changing direction, working out other options.

The goal showed him at his best - quick, simple, direct.
There was one moment when Rashford lost the ball on the edge of their 18 box. He didn't chase to win the ball back that he lost. Instead, Cavani, more than double the distance away sprinted to press the ball. That's just not on. He might be uninterested, but if that's the case, Ole has to not reward him for that by playing him all the time. Fergie would drop a top player if he thought his work ethic was wrong. Ole has to show this regarding Marcus.

Really poor effort from us. So many simple errors from a lot of players.
They needed the points much more than we did and i think it showed.
Maguire was obviously a big miss but we need to be able to deal with these things. Let`s win the next few games and finish the season on a high.

Unacceptable to lose two at home this week, especially with throwing the Leicester game. Felt like a team saving their last 20% for Gdansk.

Bailly and Lindelof are a MASSIVE concern for the Europa League final.

Don't want to dwell too much more on tonight.
