The Israeli escalation in Gaza has apparently killed multiple dozens.

Rockets continue to pour into Israel from Gaza.

There was apparently some talk of a ceasefire earlier today.

Yes Hamas offered a cease fire not only today but even yesterday and Netanyahu refused.

Knew there was an offer, the article I read said that there was internal pressure inside the Israeli government to push for a ceasefire. No clue of it meant accepting the Hamas offer or offering one of their own volition.

I cannot even bear to watch some of the videos and pictures coming out of Palestine. I have to say that Abu Mazin is also a huge problem in this issue. The Palestinians need to get rid of him if they are even to have any hope of salvaging something for themselves. He makes Corbyn look like a top class statesman.

I don't have any hopes from anyone in this region getting this problem improved and working towards any kind of resolution. There is far too much bad blood and resentment and the majority would continue to go for violence.

In a case like this it should be the people or rather countries from the rest of the world that come together and put an end to something like this but again as we have seen, spineless greedy cnuts would happily sit and watch these scenes than do anything about it. That's just so much more disturbing to think about.

Can’t help but think that the world would come running if Israel was located where Kuwait is.

Over the last few ive seen too many of these videos, no words to describe what is happening, truly sickening stuff.
As someone who lives in the Middle East, it’s quite maddening that I can look at videos like this and not be mortified anymore. This shite has been going on for so long yet some people have the gall to still defend that bloody murderous state. I genuinely don’t know if they’re intentionally playing dumb, but the mental gymnastics I’ve read on here and elsewhere genuinely baffles me. It’s like the concept of empathy is completely foreign to them and is replaced by whatever the hell I’m reading.

Hamas (feck them) or not, Israel will always find an excuse to drive Palestinians out of their homes and treat them like subhuman garbage.

There will only be peace and mutual acceptance if mutually assured destruction is guaranteed and sane people are at the helm of affairs. I suggest to give nukes to both of them and make peaceniks the prime minister of both countries and 1967 borders restored. Im sure thats a satisfactory resolution, neither side will be entirely happy with that but neither side got fully fecked over and thats what a deal is supposed to be.
Israel would say ‘feck you very much’ if that happens. They already have enough nukes to cause a global nuclear winter, and there is absolutely no reason for them to return in 1967 borders.

The two-state solution works only on current borders. Israel holds all the cards here, they do not need to give any concessions. Is that unfair in Palestinians? Of course, it is, but that is how these things have always worked. The fantasy that they will get more land than they have now is absurd, considering that in 10 years they will have less, and in 20 probably will have none.

Always nice to see how the irony of wearing the symbol of a character that symbolizes the failure of the justice system is lost on a lot of cops
Indeed, was about to point out the same thing.

Why they are using Marvel character symbols on their uniforms is whole other discussion. Weirdos.

My heart bleeds for the Palestinians. They get no justice, hopefully this is changing.

What do you expect from a state that invade another country, kills its people, ruin the country, hand it over to terrorists all based on a lie. Collin Powel, No one can forget his face when he sat in his chair telling lies. Disgraceful.

Why are so many world leaders behind Israel. I don't get it. It makes me feel a bit sick to be honest.

Mind-boggling... feck Lavazza and any club that bows down to this shit
Arsenal sponsor, the Lavazza Group, is holding urgent talks with the club after midfielder Mohamed Elneny posted his support for Palestine.

Tensions continue to escalate between Israel and militant groups in Gaza.
Elneny, who is from Egypt, has posted on Twitter saying: “My heart my soul, my support for you Palestine.”
His message went out to almost 5m followers but has resulted in a backlash from Arsenal ’s Jewish fans because his post included an image called "Palestine Lives Matter" which featured an outline of Israel filled with pro-Palestine images.

Tal Ofer, who is part of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, sought a response from Arsenal's sponsor.
The Lavazza Group has released a statement saying: “We’ll immediately reach out to Arsenal to remark we are concerned about the club associated with such a message.
“Content of this post is totally not aligned with our company values. Lavazza Group is fully committed against racism and antisemitism.”

Ofer also attempted to contact Adidas but they have not responded whilst also taking aim at Arsenal.
He said he was "sad that Arsenal did not want to deal with this more seriously, I would expect better from them than this.”
Ofer called on the FA to suspend the midfielder for his actions.

The Gunners have defended their player telling the JC : “As with any employees of Arsenal, our players are entitled to express their views on their own platforms.
"That said, we are speaking to Mo about this so he understands the wider implications of his post.
“As a club we are committed to confronting and eliminating all forms of discrimination and continue to champion the need for equality and diversity across all areas of life.”

They’re cnuts. They blacklisted Ozil when he spoke out about the Uighurs too. That club has no morals. Spineless cnuts.

Both Mane and Salah have spoken out about it and at least Liverpool stay silent on the issue (so props to them).
Arsenal Football Club have defended the social media post from star Mohamed Elneny in ‘support’ of Palestine, as their conflict – which has got much worse recently – with Israel continues.

Unfortunately you appear to be libelling Arsenal. Try getting all the facts first please.
